“Great option for take out Mexican and catering. You can feed a huge crowd on a budget and the food is good. Online ordering is easy (and no fees through the website). There is no dine in option. It's strictly takeout. They do curbside and walk in though. Service is whatever. They hand the bag to you. The only time there was a mistake in my order they made it right immediately.“

“Had a great experience at Mariano's while I was in Dallas for the weekend! I had no issues getting a parking spot and was promptly seated. My friend tried their margarita and said it was amazing- our waitress made a lot of great recommendations and seemed to appear right as we needed her. Food portions were huge- and I was shocked at how fast we got our food after ordering. This place is a well-oiled machine, ha-ha. Also really recommend the queso + salsa. They had two types of salsas, both were good and completely different from one another (think one being more watery/hot and the other more chunky and medium heat). Honestly can't say enough good things about this place, it had a good interior dining atmosphere and seemed to be managed incredibly well.“

“My wife, my daughter, and myself walked into an empty restaurant. I thought to myself 'this does not bode well'. We were directed to a counter to place our order and we ordered the Tamale Pie with mild pork, the Tommy Bowl with habanero pork and a Chicken Quesadillas. We also got chips with salsa and queso on the side. I have rarely seen my wife react to food in a dramatic way, but after one bite of the Tamale Pie, her eyes got wide, she leaned back in her chair and both arms were raised like Tommy himself had scored a touchdown and she was the ref. Speaking of Tommy, he came out and personally greeted us, which was really nice, he seems like a great guy. The quesadilla and Tommy Bowl were both amazing, and frankly my daughter and I couldn't finish because we just got so full. The queso was some of the best I've ever tased as well. I don't have a great point of reference for this, as I've only had Queso from Chipotle, but Tommy's Queso was hands down significantly superior. They also have a little market with salsa and hot sauces for sale. HIGHLY recommend!“

“This is not your usual taco place! If you want a different take on familiar flavors, then this will be right up your alley. I'm a fan of the chips and queso and like the pork carnitas, the democrat, and their taco of the month, the vagabond. They're sold individually and one taco can be a meal all on its own. It can accommodate gluten free needs, but it can be hit or miss for me if I have a reaction after eating here. So, proceed with caution if you're celiac. My son is a fan of the trailer park trashy (NOT GF) and the hillbilly queso.“

“We've been here several times already. I ordered Tilapia Monte Fresca, which was grilled with a creamy sauce and shrimp on top. It was super delicious. The chili rellenos are good as well as fish or shrimp tacos. The bloody Mary's and Pina colada's are pretty good too.Parking: It's located in the shopping center with Tom Thumb so there's plenty of parking options.“

“"My husband and I used to frequent Gloria’s Latin Cuisine in Colleyville and loved it, so we decided to try the Southlake location. We went on a Saturday night and, as expected, there was a long wait due to the no reservations policy on weekends (reservations are only accepted Monday to Thursday). If you have a large group and plan to visit on a weekend, arrive early to secure a table. The food and drinks were amazing, and the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in Southlake. The ambiance was inviting, although parking near the restaurant was difficult; however, there was plenty of parking just a two-minute walk away near the REI store. We ordered the tostadas and aquachile verde both of which tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch, and they also offer a gluten-free menu."Dietary restrictions: They have a separate gluten free menu“

“Don’t let looks fool you. It only seats 16 people inside, but they have a patio and the food is AMAZING for an unbelievable price. Cheaper than fast food and you get a huge helping of delicious fare. Most folks order to go, but there’s also a market next door where you can buy their authentic creations.“

“The best taco's I think I've had in my life, unbelievable. A little on the small size for the price, 2 taco's that should be bigger, beans and slightly overcooked rice for over $20. I'll definitely go again at some point but in a different state and see how they are there.“

“Great food, affordable price, good service. The chips are the thicker ones, great for dipping or loading up nachos but I usually prefer the thin style. Definitely not a deal breaker. I would recommend it if you are in the area! Wife had enchiladas and I had fajita nachos.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maria Del Mar, a hidden gem tucked away in Roanoke, Texas, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment my wife and I walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and hospitality that made us feel right at home. One of the standout aspects of Maria Del Mar is the exceptional service provided by Mario and his team. Their friendly and attentive approach added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. It's evident that they are passionate about what they do, and it truly reflects in the overall dining experience. One insider tip that I highly recommend: be sure to ask for their off-menu delights - the Habanero Sauce, Molcajete Salsa, and Toreado's. These hidden gems are not advertised, but they are absolutely worth trying. The Habanero Sauce packs a punch of flavor and heat, while the Molcajete Salsa adds a fresh, authentic touch to your meal. Toreado's, with its rich and smoky flavor, is another must-try. What sets Maria Del Mar apart from the typical Tex-Mex establishments is its commitment to freshness. The ingredients used in their dishes are clearly of high quality, and you can taste the difference in every bite. It's a refreshing departure from the ordinary Tex-Mex fare, and it's evident that the chefs take pride in crafting each dish with care. The margaritas and the incredible refried black beans at Maria Del Mar! These are two more reasons why this restaurant stands out. The margaritas at Maria Del Mar are nothing short of amazing. Whether you prefer them on the rocks or blended, they have the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. Sipping on one of their margaritas adds an extra layer of enjoyment to your meal, making it a true fiesta for your taste buds. And let's not forget about the refried black beans. They are a hidden treasure in themselves. Creamy, flavorful, and with a delightful hint of smokiness, these beans are a must-try side dish. They perfectly complement the main dishes and add a richness that elevates your dining experience to another level. In conclusion, Maria Del Mar is a hidden treasure in Roanoke, Texas, offering a dining experience that goes beyond the ordinary. With welcoming hospitality, off-menu delights, and a dedication to fresh, flavorful cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor something special in the Tex-Mex scene. My wife and I will undoubtedly be returning to Maria Del Mar to explore more of their culinary delights and enjoy the warm atmosphere created by Mario and his team.“

“If you have not tried this place you are definitely missing out. Tried for the first time today and loved everything we ordered. Tex mex with a Laredo twist, but taste homemade and with love. From the margaritas to dessert this place hit all points. Don’t sleep on this restaurant. We will be back for sure! The service was amazing even the owner was on the floor and not hidden.“

“FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: great Tex Mex food with two locations- one in Southlake and one in Dallas! THE VIBE: I felt like this place was pretty casual and fancy at the the same time. It's in Southlake Town Square so maybe dressing up would be okay? It's a western/country vibe place. Patio seating is available. PRICE: $45 + $10 tip WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! **** Overall Rating: 9/10 - Another Tex Mex restaurant to add to your list! I swear Southlake Town Square has great dinner places you really can't go wrong with! - These fish tacos were humongous. I could only finish 2 of them but wow it was so good. It definitely needed some hotter salsa/sauce or hot sauce tho I'll say. I loved the freshness of coleslaw tho. Fish was fried to perfection and not oily at all. - My mom's chicken fajitas were a great portion too. The thing that makes this restaurant stand out from other Mexican restaurants are their homemade flour and corn tortillas. The flour tortillas are SUPER soft and large. They are thin as well I hate overly thick flour tortillas tbh. Literally the tortillas will have you drooling. - Only thing I didn't like were the chips and salsa. The salsa was extremely salty with no flavor. - You don't need a reservation on a weekend night but it's still pretty busy!“

“Party of 5, one child. We thought everything was just great. Very quick to be seated, however we didn't want to be the first table in the front entrance so we asked to be moved and were so very quickly to a great table. Our waitress was wonderful, very quick and attentive. Margaritas and other drinks were served MUCH quicker than at most places. Chips, salsa, appetizers came just a quickly. Food was really good. Chili Rellenos, enchiladas, Flautas, all came quickly, were hot and fresh. We had no complaints about anything at all. The Flan was great, kids enjoyed their sopapillas as well.“

Everyone else said good things about there's. The avocado enchilada was delicious.Kid-friendliness: My nephew brought his 3 little ones (1,3,5) and they were easily accommodated.“

“Mena's is our go-to place for great TexMex. Service is always great, and despite being busy, our food usually comes quickly. I would have given 5 stars this time, but they have changed their chips. They have always been thin and crispy. This time, they were much thicker. We ordered Pollo con salsa, beef enchiladas, and the chicken flautas. They have the absolute best sour cream sauce! If you have an option when selecting a sauce for your entre... get the sour cream!“

“Love this location!!But make sure to get there early on popular days (ie Cinco de Mayo, Mother's/Father's Day) or be prepared to wait!Parking: They share a parking lot with Home Depot, so their lot fills up (which is usually always during the busy times), you can park in the Home Depot area.Kid-friendliness: It has a family atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair accessibility sucks, cause you have to park in the back and then come in a side entrance. It's there just a lil bit inconvenient.“

“Went and sat at the bar for a date with my husband. Enjoyed an appetizer and some drinks! The service was great for the most part. I was a bit confused when I received my bill. We ordered the David’s Queso which came WITH corn and brisket for 11.99, but my bill had an “open food” item charge for 2.50. Bartender (she) told us it was for the brisket. If this is the case, it needs to be advertised as an additional charge on the menu, not a total price.Other than that, we ordered food to take home for our kiddos. It was subpar, but they’re not picky!“

It seriously melted in your mouth. Very impressive! The queso, margaritas, churros…. Everything was fantastic. “EAT HERE!! SOLID MEXICAN FOOD!!SURPRISED BY BEST HAMBURGER!!!I’ve eaten here many times over the years and Miguelito’s has always been a great dining experience. For what it is.Let me explainIt’s a family run business that’s been where it is for decades. The family takes pride in service and the food they offer and it’s obvious from the moment you sit down. In today’s apathetic server age it’s refreshing to be waited on with courtesy and a genuine feeling that you’re an important guest, not just someone who spends money. But it’s still just standard but above average quality Mexican food. The food isn’t fused, elevated or altered to try and created something new. Instead it’s just good and at a fair price. Other restaurants should take note (looking at YOU uncle Julio) that you can serve good portioned, quality food without charging upscale plate prices. My recommendation is to go eat here sooner rather than later. We never know how long experiences like this will be around. On a side note a guest in my party had the hamburger. I was offered to try some and it was one of the best flavored burgers I’ve had in a minute. Why? Simple flavors and high quality ground beef that didn’t have 10,000 spices added to it. Just, beefKid-friendliness: Kid friendly staff and a kids menus.“

“If you want a model of excellent service, top notch food, amazing drinks, and a great atmosphere. Come here. There was a small wait on a Friday evening but I didn't mind that at all. The bartender was quick to bring drinks to my party. When we were seated, our waiter Elvin, was right there to greet us and take our order. The queso and table-side quac was out of this world tasty. Our actual meals arrived at the perfect time as our appetizers were winding down. Every bite of every meal was absolutely delicious. It isn't a matter of if I return but when. I can't rate this restaurant high enough.Vegetarian options: Typical options you would expect to find at a Tex-Mex restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian options albeit not vegan options.Parking: It is all open parking around the area. There may have been valet at a couple spots but it wasn't necessary.Kid-friendliness: I didn't see a children's menu but I am certain there are options that children would enjoy such as tacos and quesadillas.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessible doors and the establishment is pretty tight. It would prove difficult to find seating for an individual that is wheelchair bound.“
