“I've been going here since I was a small child 30 years ago. It was my family's go-to Mexican restaurant. I've lived outside of Houston for 20 years but when I'm back in town, I always try to stop by. The manager still remembers me and my family when we stop in and makes us feel like home. Always brings back good memories. The food is largely the same as always and great at that!“

“This place is great. Good prices, very generous with how much they give you of everything, and all the food is seasoned well. If you have any special requests, like things being put on the side and such so that you can take the food home, they take care of it well with no fuss ?? I believe most of the staff are bilingual in both Spanish and English, so that's a nice bonus for a lot of people in this community. I have been back and will be back soon ;)The picture attached has nachos with barbacoa and all the various toppings they give you with the order.“

“Our new favorite restaurant with the added bonus it’s close to our house. Food was excellent and waitstaff friendly and attentive. Owner was there and nice as can be. We intend to be back and restrain from ordering the same thing as we want to work our way through the menu. I think they need to name a table for us!“

“Our first visit was to celebrate my daughter's 22nd birthday. The food is exceptional, the drinks are creative and on point. We started off with some street corn for an appetizer! I had seafood Mexicana with shrimp scallops and octopus seasoned with a siracha sauce over risotto. The wait staff all sang Happy Birthday and gave her a piece of quattro leches cake....OMG! A perfect place to celebrate ? anything! Soo good! Cory was our server and helped with our food selection as well as being a spirit guide for all of their creative libations. Can't wait to come back and try several other dishes real soon! Run don't walk to try all of their delicious food!“

“We saw this restaurant in social media and wanted to come check it out. It did not disappoint!! I had the delicious chilaquiles and it came with homemade chips! We also ordered the Jorge plate with spicy pork tamales covered with eggs and side of beans and potatoes. It was another excellent choice.The Tamale joint is very clean, comfortable and amazing customer service from Jorge the Manager! He was so kind, helpful and enthusiastic! We will definitely come back soon to try the enchiladas!“

“I grew up in San Antonio and have been eating tacos all my life, breakfast, lunch and dinner. These are the best tacos I've ever had with the best sauce. Everything is homemade and the service is fantastic. I've only had their tacos, haven't had the burritos, but they are awesome. Every time I eat there, I can't wait to go back.“

“Originally we went to the Maryland St location and it was closed, this location looks a little more modern. Since it was closed we decided to try their Lamb st location, I gotta say I was skeptical at first, the place doesn't look that nice from the outside. Inside it's a typical Mexican restaurant, but the food was amazing. Molcajete azteca was good although would have liked the stone hotter and the food didn't feel that hot but over all great taste. Also had their prawns, mussels, shrimp and octopus plate and the sauce it's drenched in is absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend.“

“Our family has been going to Mario’s for years now for his tasty tacos, exceptional homemade salsas, and delicious hamburgers. I’ve never eaten anything here that wasn’t absolutely delish. To top it all off, Mario, his wife, and the staff take the time to know their regular customers. They know our order without even telling them and they know our entire family by name. “Came in on a Saturday night, and had a wonderful time. I had seen this place open a while back as it is near my office. Although it was a Saturday night and the place was buzzing my party of 4 was able to be seated very quickly. We tried the award winning Al Pastor tacos as well as the Mahi Mahi tacos. Paired with the Mi Tierra margarita it was a hit! Taco's were light and refreshing exactly what I was looking for out of my Saturday dinner. My friends order the grilled beef fajitas which I tried as well. The quality of the beef was great, tender and juicy. The ambiance had a buzz to it as they played great songs that fit the setting. I'm excited to come back and try more of the menu!“

“Really good tortas good customer service. The fajita meat had a spice to it. The meat is marinated in a spicy tomato sauce . Torta came with refried beans , avocado , cream , lettuce , tomato, jalapeños and onions . I got one torta plain for my daughter.“
