Wow, what a gem! So happy I decided to come to Chichos Cafe. I'm just passing through, and love to find great local/small town restaurants. Had the ribeye (mashed potatoes and beautifully fresh and bright green beans!) and it was perfectly done. Was super surprised by the salad/soup bar....probably the best grape tomatoes I've ever had, tasted like they came from someone's backyard. AND - its BYOB with only a $5 corkage fee. The food the first time we went was AMAZING (alfredo with steak). I was so impressed I went back a second time and ordered the same meal, but it wasn't quite as good! Still good though just not as great as the f! 3 stars due to service, both times we weren't told about the salad bar- the first time we were told as our food was coming out and the second time I had to ask if we got salad.

This place is an amazing hidden gem. There new location at 1168 Sidney Baker is so quaint. The food is awesome. I have been looking for a good salad in Kerrville all Summer. Let me tell you, this is my new favorite cafe. The staff is friendly. I suggest the shrimp feta watermelon salad. Give this cafe a try. You will not regret it.
