“I celebrated my birthday with a family member for the first time at Red River Cantina. The food was outstanding! The service was right on. The ambiance was TexMex classic. The ladies bathroom was impeccably clean and well stocked. Our server surprised me with a beautifully and delicious complimentary Sopapillas with cream and a lit birthday candle. Red River Cantina has nothing to envy their competitors. We all know who they are. Red River is our new restaurant for delicious and reasonably priced TexMex dining! Next on our list is their BBQ restaurant! Can't wait!”

Visited this place since I'm a ? legs fanatic, the reviews seemed good, plus my friend visited and said food was good, but unfortunately I was disappointed. Will try one more time with maybe just the crafty cajun sauce and see if that makes a difference. Also the order came with ? & ? so I didn't need to order a side of ? (didn't know at the time of ordering).Update: I've since revisited and found my happy place with the Crafty Cajun Sauce on the ? and have returned several times either take-out or dine in with friends etc Drinks are pretty good too!

“Had our 50th Anniversary dinner here. Excellent seafood dinners. The Cioppini was packed with seafood and the snapper was fresh and delicious. Very nice selection of wines. Wish we lived closer to visit more often.”

“Great place!We went for Mother’s Day celebration.Though it was packed, the waiting area was pleasant and they had bubbly for anyone that wanted to be entertained that way.Food was great and they were extremely accommodating, we had one member of our party with lots of allergies and chef came multiple times to check and make sure the food is appropriately selected.Pleasant evening overall!

She finally found my order but still couldn't get my name right even after she found my order. Not only did she get my name wrong, she attempted to put my name on the bag but it was still wrong on the bag. She handed me the bag and said she made sure she put my correct name on it. It was still wrong. I told her my name is Jennifer but she still put Jessica on it. Yes it's just a name on the bag, but it's the point that she wasn't listening to me.”

“The employees are very nice and welcoming. The store is clean but very small. There's not a lot of space to wait for the order and can get quite crowded at peek times. The mobile order system can use some work. The expectation is the order will be ready by pick-up time but it's required to notify arrival via the app and there's still a wait. It defeats the purpose of placing the order in advance. However, the cookies are extraordinary.”

“My partner is dairy and gluten free, so finding treats to surprise her with used to be hard. Then, we found Food of Life and it is AMAZING. Jodie puts a lot of hard work and pride into her food, and it shows. Everything is so tasty that I prefer it to normal bakeries! Simply cannot recommend this place enough. Blake is a constant strong leader and his example in superior customer service is evident in the training of the all the staff members we have met. “I have a soft spot for an egg and cheese biscuit. I had been having mediocre experiences at Burger Kings so I decided to write them off. Glad I gave this one a chance. The cheese was actually melted, not just a cold slice thrown on in an after thought. The egg, and biscuit were also hot and fresh tasting. The food came out very quickly. The tots weren’t as fresh, but the sandwich was good enough to overlook that.”

“It was ok, but nothing stands out as special. The coffee tastes cheap (definitely not gourmet for almost $3), and the pancakes are like from a mix. And, the hash browns casserole was a bit mushy. The pancakes are loaded with sugar.”

“We eat out every Thursday with our group of special needs children. We were turned away from a league city fast food restaurant. The manager was very rude. One of the teachers called Double Dave’s and the manager/owner went out of his way to make pizzas for 22 people at the last minute. The manager was so nice and accommodating. We have some that can only eat certain things and they accommodated everything. Go give Double Dave’s some business. Everyone that works there is amazing!!”

“I have seen four bad reviews.I think they must be talking about another place.We started going there a little over two years ago.We eat there at least once a week,sometimes twice and not on ce was there a bad meal.They have had a little trouble with Chefs as the one who had been there a long time,who.drove from Galveston every daY, left early this year He was great.The other Chef who came was ok but not successful and did not last long and I do not know if they have another permanent Chef or if the Chef's assistants are doing it at the moment.Whatever the food is always good and plenty and they have 22 beers on drought and offers on drin ks and food every day.Food is served until 10pm every night except Fri and SaT when it is 11pm aNd they are open until midnight every day except Fri and SsturdaY when it is 1am.The staff are great and the Customers are great. We have made at least 20good friends and I mean Good friends who are now close friends ,since going there.If you want grest food,great.drinks,meet nice people,this is the place.I always saY there is always an ear that will.listen and someone to laugh with.I do not understand the bad reviews of whic h I saw only four going bac to20 21.This is NOT this place.”

“Ate lunch here on a Saturday. We ordered the crab Rangoon for an appetizer. It had very very little filling and I'm pretty sure no crab only cream cheese. The wonton soup was delicious. I had the curry chicken and my counter part had the orange chicken we both enjoyed our meals. The egg rolls were very very greasy. Waiter was efficient. Good value”

“My family of 3 has been here twice and each time it was great. Waited said it only gets busy on Saturdays. After living in Japan for the past 3 years I can honestly say the food here is pretty good. “the toppings were very much lacking and disorganized even though the place was empty and the employee was just standing behind the register since we walked in. one of the soft serve machines was not working and dripping/leaking. i pointed it out and she just said "yeah, you shouldn't use that one" the ice cream we got wasn't bad. the prices were reasonable. but the tidyness, and cleanliness and upkeep leave a lot to be desired-------edit- hey there, thanks for your reply. the boba (the little squishy mango balls ? ) were like 99% empty except for a random stragler here and there, the surrounding toppings were also in disaray and the cheesecake bite bits only had enough toppings for one of the 3 people in our party to use any at all, and no mandarins or berries (except maybe blue berries?) . i appreciate your response though, we were there maaaybe 3 weeks ago on a satruday, it was one of the really hot days of summer before the hurricane warning .the staff person, there were 2 i believe was a young female at the register who saw super nice, and the person going back and forth appeared to be restocking or stocking the frozen treats you sell, like cakes.thanks for your responsiveness! you get a star for that !”

“From the outside of this Shell gas station you would not know that there is a tex-mex burger and tacos restaurant inside. Truly a hole in the wall find.Bonus is that the food is good.Super bonus is that it's definitely less expensive than any other restaurant around.Downsides are they close at 3:30pm, and you have to pay separately for your drinks at the gas station counter. A really big selection of drinks tho.I'll come back. I liked the spiced salts they used on the onion rings too”

“We have ordered a couple times always great! Tonight I ordered and pizza was delivered and the pizza was incorrect! I called and was told they would remake it. OK! Then I get a phone call back and was asked what did I order. Left half hamburger, black olives, onions, and mushrooms the right half ham only no mushrooms, no black olives, no onions. The young man says o no ma’am it show opposite on our screen. I tell him what it is and he says well ok we will remake it! Thank you! I pull up my order online and look at my receipt and they both reflect the correct order so I call back to let the manager on duty know I don’t appreciate someone calling me and implying I can’t read or I’m and idiot! The order clearly was correct on the computer screen and the receipt. I let the manager know that maybe he should speak with said person and I get O ok I’ll let the general manager know!
