“We visited this restaurant back in March 2024. Me and my husband was meeting with a long-time friend. None of us had been to this restaurant but decided to go since it was close in the area of where we were staying. The outside was quite clean, and I loved the ambience of the restaurant; dark but not too dark. I must stop and brag on the waitress because our guest was quite unsure of what she wanted and because everything seemed so delicious she wanted details on the 5 items she had her choices narrowed down to.Shelly the waitress was amazing as without even looking at the menu was able to literally tell our friend exactly what she would be getting if she ordered say an ultimate fish sandwich, I mean right down to the way the sandwich is prepared. All three of us enjoyed our meal. It was fresh and looked appetizing and appealing. I was a little underwhelmed by the seasoning of the catfish because it tastes as though it had zero seasoning. Other than that, the service was good, and the bill was mid-range. So would I ever come to this establishment again, probably so….at least I can add some seasoning I cannot take seasoning away from meals prepared with too much salt and etc.“

“Usually I go through the drive. Tonight my hubby and I went in. I got my usual 5 piece chicken plater(no fish yuck). Hubby plstter with shrimp. The guy was on the ball one working front two in back. They didn't give me extra crunchies as I asked. There wasn't any even on the plate. One of my Chicks was removed from the fryer to early, still eat able. Just not perfection as the others. Green beans always taste the same. They have benches that need replaced. They need a little more then just a touch up. The ladies rest room need some lovin' the lights kept blinking while I was in there. I think the fountain drink thing is on the frits cause it gets really loud. Not constantly only while in use. Mainly because I didn't hv crumbs on my plate and I had to ask for crumbs again. (I still got only a little bit.) Is the reason for the complaint. Staff again great!!“

“Came here after our son’s graduation for dinner. Our server Amanda was literally one of the most attentive servers I have ever had at any restaurant! She was super fast with our drinks, put in our appetizers early, brought out our food piping hot and fresh! The best Red Lobster experience we’ve had EVER!!! Food was on point as well!!!“

“The Classic is just that, classic. We have been going there for 28 years. Special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, are celebrated there with our family and friends. The ambience is so nice and makes each celebration a delight.“

“We had a party of 6 for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Our server Adrienne, did a great job and made everyone feel special. The food was excellent. We had angus ribeye, filets, and the baked redfish. My wife had the redfish and said it was the best seafood dish she had ever eaten (we lived in Galveston for many years so that is quite a statement). The vegetarian in our group loved the salad special of the day and the sides. We had mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes, mac and cheese, and broccoli. The sides were good as well as fried pickles and calamari as appetizers. It was Saturday night so the noise level was up. Bill was around 100 per person with drinks , tax, and tip.“

“This place came highly recommended by a friend and after reading reviews, our party of 9 was excited to try it. Apparently 2pm on a Tuesday is a challenging time to get great service at an upscale dining establishment. Our server/bar tender was defining put out by our table. She seemed frustrated at each request and definitely left something to be desired. The food was fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend the crab cake appetizer and the calamari. The apple galette dessert was the hit of our meal along with the salad and bread. I'm willing to give another try hoping for a better server. Great ambiance and atmosphere!!“

“I only went in there to grab some fried rice, nothing special so I can't comment on their menu items. And I enjoyed my fried rice. As soon as I walked in the door somebody came to me to ask what I needed, we proceeded with a to-go order. It was quick, easy, and the gentleman was nice.“

“I came here for a friend’s birthday dinner and really enjoyed my time here. Since it was a group dinner , there were a couple variety combinations we could pick from. I believe they require set menus for a certain size group. Price was about $98 for each person. With that said , it included appetizers, main dish , pasta & dessert. Starting off with the appetizers, the options were house salad & Focaccia bread. I absolutely loved the Focaccia bread , it’s one of the best bread appetizers I’ve have so I really highly recommend it. There were 4 options for the main dish & I went with the Chilean Sea Bass. The Sea Bass was so delicious & it had a bit of crab meat on top that made it even better. Desserts wise I went with the tiramisu. The serve was solid. They had private dining rooms if you need reservations for a small party. I think it was a solid deal for the price & the options. I would definitely come here again & would recommend the group set dinners for anyone that is interested!“

“Stumbled upon this place last night wanting to try a new spot around my house. Found it on Google and walked on over. I'm usually very picky of seafood from small and new places. Walking in I was greeted right away (later we found out it was the owner). I had a margarita which was good.I ordered the seafood ceviche which was amazing. They served it with saltines, but I asked for tostadas and they gave them to me no problem. It was really really good. Then the mixed fajitas came out piping hot with some homemade tortillas. The homemade salsa was amazing also with the chips.Will definitely be coming back trying more thing and especially once they start late night hours and live bands.“

“Visited Krab Kingz during the GNEBCC mixer and had an amazing time. The restaurant was spacious and clean. They have drinks and hookahs plus the most delicious seafood in North Tarrant County! I drove from Downtown Dallas and will do it again!“

“This is a great place for a special occasion or if you just want some really good food. They also have mocktails for the non-drinkers. Our waiter Kevin was awesome too!“

“This place has the BEST coleslaw although that certainly isn’t the only reason to go there. I had the peel and eat shrimp which was very good and I have also had the fish and chips which I highly recommend as well.You’ll want to check out the “Specials” board when you go there as there are always some yummy selections to try.“

“3 times to order in the past 2 weeks. Had Kung Pao Chicken, Cashew Chicken and Hunan Chicken, all were very tasty, but they tasted about the same. Same use of vegetables and not much difference in the sauce. 2 spicy, 1 not, but tasted the same. Also ordered spring rolls. Won't order again. 3 very small rolls and works out to be about $.50 per bite.“

For dinner we had the lobster bisque, a Caesar salad, the minestrone, and the lasagna. All were excellent. The bar staff and members of the owner's family we chatted with were engaging and clearly value the nearly 40 years of patronage from the local community. If you are like us and haven't been in a while, put La Bistro back in your rotation.“

“Be careful eating here and paying with a debit or credit card. I was charged twice and called once I noticed, the person I spoke with did not sound surprised at all. I was told they would have to wait for the manager to go through all transactions to double check it and call me back. Once called back they said I did get charged twice and “they would work on getting it reversed”. I have still yet to receive my refund.“
