“Amazingly fresh churros and homemade ice cream. Would like to see a larger selection of ice cream but they do offer some not so common flavors. Everything is made to order and I loved the fruity pebbles warm waffle that wrapped my cup, it was hot and fresh and perfect pairing with any ice cream flavor you choose. I’ll be back for sure.“

“We enjoy Ms. Norma's Cafe more and more with each visit. All the food is fantastic, the owner/staff is friendly, and you can taste that everything here is made with love. While we enjoy items on the regular menu, we look forward to the daily specials. We have tried the Carne Guisada, Barbacoa, Picadillo, Migas, Mark's Favorite Burrito, sourdough bread, lemon cake, and other items - all of them were delicious. Today I had her chicken and dumplings for the first time and it felt like a warm hug while eating it. This place is special and I can't wait to keep trying more of her food.“

“After a morning at the eye doctor heading back south of H-Town, we decided to stop for brunch. Saw this place, was on the way, and we hadn't tried it. So why not. I will say the pace is a bit unassuming outside, but I'm here for vittles and they best be good. Start with a cup of coffee. Coffee's ok - not the best I've had but still good. Hmmmm sausage and gravy - let's see if they have tolerable biscuits. Well, not just tolerable but darn good. Yes, that's what makes the meal! Also had eggs over medium. Done a bit less than I prefer but perfect for my wife - both of us ordering it over medium. She likes em runnier. Bacon was cooked just right - bit of crunch but not overly crunchy. Definitely a place we'd like to visit again when in the area!“

“The dessert experience was amazing!! We went as a family as a Friday Treat. Try the Dolly’s Dream. It’s reasonably priced compared to other places, especially since I shared a junior size with my toddler. Someone mentioned how quiet it was in here, which it is but I came for the dessert. I actually appreciate the calm atmosphere. They also have a small outdoor patio great if you have little kids who’d get messy. Bonus is they have a drive-thru“

“This is by far the best ice cream shop in the area. It has the old retro style to it that other shops can't beat. Delicious ice cream, great atmosphere, and good service.Kid-friendliness: My son loves it! They have connect 4 on the tables to enjoy your time with the family while you wait for your food.“

“My family and I went to eat Sunday night and we hadn’t scheduled a reservation. We get there and they were able to accommodate a table of 15 with no issues. The servers were so great And explained everything in detail and even separated checks by numbers (which a lot of restaurants don’t do). They had great music, my fave Frida in every corner of the restaurant, great decor the chandeliers looked awesome, it was so clean and smelled so good upon entering. They gave us complimentary appetizers and desserts which were awesome like the queso. I really wished I would have taken pictures of everything but even the most picky family members loved it and said they will def be back. The prices were super reasonable definitely not as expensive as other restaurants. My husband and I shared a parrillada for 2 beef and omg the homemade tortillas de maíz were amazing! It came with a good amount of beef, onion and bell peppers all fresh. We both had our own beans, rice, sour cream, avocado and tortillas. I had a mangonada and it was delightful and the miches were great! Everyone was helping us with great spirit and over all made us feel welcomed! They always give excellent service and quality of food. I come back because of them. I'm afraid to go anywhere else because they now have us spoiled. Glad to see them still there.“

There is a large parking lot with plenty of parking.“
