My 3-year-old twins and I came to eat here at around 6pm on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023. The place was maybe 50% full if not less. I was asked by my waitress/bartender to cut down my children’s iPad because there were complaints about it being loud. I was caught off guard by this request because this is a bar that has loud music and has many kids currently running in and out making noise. While my children are sitting down quietly eating and watching Peppa Pig on their iPad. After the shock wore off, I turned the iPad even higher and made sure to inform her that I turned it louder and it can still barely be heard over all the other noise in the place. I was sure to also tell her that next time someone has an outrageous request like this, tell them to come ask me to cut it down or she shouldn’t say anything at all, then I proceeded to tip her 50%. Not sure if this was racially motivated but it sure felt like it when you’re singled out like this. We have visited this place every month for the past few years, but I WILL NOT be going back.
