This was my first take-out experience with Akashi, although I've eaten lunch at the restaurant on several occasions. All previous experiences have been positive and this was not an exception. The food was very well packaged and the aroma from the stir fries and spices let me know that I was in for a tasty meal. The orange chicken was crunchy and glazed with a sweet orange sauce. It came with a side of fried rice, soup and eggroll. It was a quick, tasty, and filling meal. At $9.95 for most dishes on the lunch menu, I highly recommend Akasi for dining-in or takeout lunches.

Wow that was interesting, the eggplant with pork that I had was super greasy, super salty and super extra ginger. I feel like throwing up. Maybe this is some kind of authentic Chinese interpretation but it's really making me sick. The amount of grease in that clay pot was overwhelming. Maybe this place is more like for white people that are not really into Asian food.

Reasonable prices for delicious food. I highly recommend the Mongolian beef dinner. Plenty of parking right out front.It is a relaxed vibe with beautiful decor and low lighting. It's not the most attentive servers, but it seems designed to be a very private, no stress meal. (By no means are the servers inattentive, it's more that they give you room to enjoy your meal without interrupting you every 10 minutes) Every time I get my bill I'm shocked it wasn't more expensive. I will remain a regular here and recommend this business regularly.

My husband and I were looking for a light dinner while visiting the area and decided to give this place a try. We are so glad we did. The service was great and the menu selections were very impressive. The volcano salad I ordered was not just delicious, but plated beautifully. My husband loved his barbecued eel. We loved the modern vibe and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Hopefully we will be able to come back one day.

This place was pretty hit or miss for a while after it opened. Hey have always had great sushi but the service was questionable. They have dialed that in quite a bit and are now our go to local sushi joint. Very cool restaurant will good sushi and good service.

Food is the best I've had for years, definitely the best authentic restaurant for 40 miles.The service was exactly perfect, timing, knowledge, and willingness to customize was extraordinary!The building and ambiance was exquisite, can bring large parties to intimate dinners. Excellent place!!

Tried going here for lunch and was very disappointed with the sushi. The non-sushi entrees looked good, but the sushi didn't taste fresh and just tasted like flavorless blobs of fish. The service and restaurant itself were both great so three stars for that. I would not recommend it based on the food though.

Do not order online from Akashi near Vintage Park on the weekend. It took almost an hour for me to get my food, and all the restaurant could say is "Sorry, we are really busy". They obviously don't realize the meaning of customer service or that there are hundreds of other places I can order from. I won't be back.

Second time trying this restaurant. The first time was at the Lake Conroe location. Both times I got the cinnamon roll and it was amazing, definitely a favorite. The sweet-and-sour pork was pretty good but next time I will try something different, definitely amazing. Sushi. The chicken wing appetizer is amazing the most crispy delicious wings ever..
