Had a craving for a Frito Pie, this was the closest place to me to give it a shot.Being a Rail=Road fan the "Loose Caboose" was an obvious place I needed to try out.Had the Frito Pie & Fried Mac & Cheese sticks. Both were hot and fresh when I got them, expected the wait to be long when I ordered but only took 10 to 15 minutes to get my full order and be on my way. Would definitely go again, fantastic for some good southern cooking.

Cool looking place but it's a tourist trap... fun and eccentric except that cashier who's impatient and not fun. Menus were grimy and made me think twice but I figured I was being picky. Burgers are whatever, ice tea tasted like old shoe and overall we kinda hated the experience.

We stopped on New Year’s Eve for lunch and had a great experience. The burgers were delicious, homemade style thick patties, the chicken and sausage gumbo was great too! We also had an order of fried Oreos which were great. My son had the pulled pork sandwich, and said it was just ok. Overall great experience and the area was awesome. Highly recommend.

It is a small place. The food is good. You order at the counter, they give you a number, then bring it to you. People get loud. So, to me, the atmosphere is poor. My burger was very thick and juicy, I liked it. It's worth a pop in at least once to try it out.

This is not a Michelin place. This is hole in the wall, good food, dress down place to be. I go here every time I’m in Houston. Love their Boudin balls!!
