“I ate the most delicious stale burrito this morning. I can’t say enough about the goodness of the man and woman that run this restaurant. I was visiting from out of town and the kindness of their hearts, and the light and joy in their eyes left me better than I was when I got there. I wasn’t aware they were cash only, and the kind owners gifted me a meal and drink-I didn’t wake up this morning expecting such kindness, but I am going to let everyone know about the the great food that matches the great owners!”

“Been visiting R&R for a number of years. Only had 1 semi bad experience with a gal working the window and for no reason had a terrible attitude. She was replaced before we recieved our order. That was a most heads up move by other employees . I have been quite happy with the food a d service has always been with a smile. 5 star over all!”

“First time here. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are helpful and friendly. Ordered a chicken salad salad sandwich combo and my sis ordered a sampler Hawaiian pizza. We both had iced tea. The food was good, even though the sandwich was small, it and the chips were filling for me. Sis liked the pizza. They have couches and chairs for you to chill or do some work.”

“Banana Nut Bread:I really doubt you have ever had banana nut bread better than this.After the passing of my grandmother (Nonnie) 13 years ago, I had lost hope that I would ever find another banana nut bread that could to compare hers....until my wife and I stumbled across Lida's Bakery while passing through Stephenville in 2021.We saw the reviews online and stopped in for the pastries, but also purchased the smallest loaf of the banana nut bread due to me being more than a tad pessimistic. See every loaf of banana nut bread I had purchased in the preceeding 13 years was either dry, flavorless, hard, or some combination of the above. We journeyed on while enjoying the pastries, especially the scone. However, we held off on the banana nut bread, since it would need to be sliced.When we arrived home ,169 miles away, I began to sample this prized item as my wife asked "Is it good?". I told her "No, it is great!" Memories rushed through my mind of my grandmother and my childhood as my wife joined me of her first slice. It was at this time I fully realized my folly. I had judged Lida's Bakery by the lenses of all others who could not compare and purchased a tiny loaf that would soon be gone.Fast-forward, and it is now August of 2023 and it has been entirely too long , but I just returned home with two large loafs of this fantastic dessert. The staff was very helpful since I was running more than a little behind schedule when I arrived. Thankfully nothing has changed and it is exactly like I remembered it. The bread has a great aroma, is slightly firm with a fantastic flavor. It is moist and has just the perfect bananas/nut ratio, just like the way Nonnie made it. I will now be delivering a loaf to my Mom, Nonnies daughter for her to enjoy.Thank y'all for the delightful dessert and the hospitality. See you soon.Bart”

I dined on the Baja tacos ? twice I had bones, the cabbage wasn’t crunchy & the Mexican rice was bland. Our mixed drinks were superb. Our waitress was nice and took care of us.”

The steak was cooked amazingly, and it tasted great, the fries were pretty good as well.(Flash into the past) 1 year ago(I went to this location last year with some friends when one of the waiters was very rude and aggressive with us. He wouldn’t refill our drinks or get us anything without us asking, and when we asked he gave attitude and wouldn’t come back for a while. We would then ask again when he comes back to the point we got up and asked another person for our stuff. Our waiter was rude and threw our to go boxes and other things on the table without a care for where they landed. It was one of the worst experiences we had in a restaurant.)”

“Recent visit to Stephenville on a Sunday and a quick Yelp search revealed very few ice cream/frozen yogurt options, but Yogurt Delicious popped up so we stopped in. My daughter had a sorbet mix with all the candy toppings!! There were sooo many options! I had the white chocolate with cheesecake cubes and butterfinger sprinkled over. Sooo yummy! It's a typical frozen yogurt stop with the exception that they still use one size cup and weigh it, so my daughter was encouraged to fill it with ALL the goodness - so it was $17 for two of us, and half hers got tossed. It was a mommy-daughter moment though, so it wasn't a bother to me. The service was so-so, there was one lady working and she only came out from the back to check us out & went back to the storage area. It was nice and cool inside though, plenty of comfy seating for one or groups, with help-yourself jugs of fresh water and fresca's. My daughter enjoyed their music selection too! We'd go again if in the area & craving frozen goodness!”

“I had a taste for some grits and not many places up here serve grits, so I decided to go to Grandma B's today. As usual it was packed (which is a good sign for a eatery) but the flow was smooth. I dined in today because I didn't want my grits to be cold by the time I made it home. I ordered French Toast, eggs, grits, with sausage and orange juice. My food came out in a timely manner, it was nice and hot just the way I like it. Everything was good. This establishment is CASH ONLY and parking is available along the street. So depending on what time of day you go parking may be a little challenging but worth it”

“Great food great ppl great atmosphere. We have been going here for several years. The owner always says hi and greets everyone. Staff is kind and attentive checking on customers, cleaning tables, and making sure everyone has all they need. The food is fresh tastes great and has tons of flavor. They also offer lots of extra options. Love when they do love music right out front off the square. Highly recommend!”

I loved that each of us got a salsa bowl instead of having to share. I got the tres amigos enchiladas and they were all three so good, but the chicken with sour cream sauce was amazing. I thought the atmosphere would be rowdy in a college town on a Friday evening, but even though it was crowded, it wasn’t rowdy. 100% recommend”

“First time to stop here. I was unsure what to expect. I had the buffet, on Tuesday it was fried chicken and chicken fried steak. I ate the CFS with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. It was delicious. For dessert I had the peach cobbler with a side of vanilla ice cream. The cobbler tasted homemade. Crust was perfect and it was not overly sweet. The restaurant has atmosphere and is very homey. Don't come here if you are looking for the looks of a chain restaurant. I will definitely come back.”

“We love Cici's Pizza. We usually go with 3 or 4 couples and all our kids. Its the ideal place for adult fellowship while kids can also visit and play in game room. The owner, managers and staff are awesome! The older kids can even help themselves to the buffet. The tip wasn’t a lot because it’s between paydays. I was lectured by the waiter that he has to tip out the cook 7 o/o at the end of the night, even though we tipped the cook and the waiter separately. I didn’t appreciate the lecture and should have asked for the insignificant tip back if he wasn’t happy with it”

“We eat here about once a very 2-3 months and I am slowly working my way through the menu. The Waygu steak is good. Order it medium rare and it'll be a little closer to rare which is perfect.”

“We live about 30 miles away but every time we come to Stephenville we stop by Cotton Patch. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxing and the service always good. A special shout out to our favorite server, Nicole. We'd adopt her if we could. We never go in that she doesn't make us feel both welcome and like we've come home. To us, she's like family.”
