Went for the soft opening benefiting the Montgomery Food Bank. We had the Stand Burger for $8.95 and the Big Blue Burger $11.95 on pretzel bun for extra 25c. Well worth it! Both burgers were very good. The flavors were tasty and complimented each other. The burgers were cooked perfect, and they held together well-they didn't fall apart or become sloppy. The large fries, $6.50, were perfectly cooked-crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and they were fresh!! The vanilla shake, $5.95, was thick and creamy. Sampled The Stand Chips-crunchy kettle chips with a nice seasoning. Self-serve Coke products, lemonade, agua fresca, and tea. Design is thought out and has a good flow-from entering, to ordering and seating. Plenty of seating and a great patio. The staff were friendly and seemed excited to work there! Menu is large enough to read on wall and they are paper ones by the door too. Parking is best in the lot by Whole Foods lot or the garages, although a bit of a walk from those. The Stand is on the corner when you enter Hughes Landing from Lake Woodlands, diagonal from Natural Dog store.
