“This was fun experience and the food was amazing! Portions were good for minimal waste and there were lots of sauce options for cooking. “10 of us arrived on a Monday night around 7:00, we the owner found out it was our first time there (we are from Louisiana) he gave us samples of brisket and sausage, it was so good. “It was very busy and the large restaurant was almost full. All the food we ordered was delicious. I think it's easier to get a seat if you make a reservation. We didn't make a reservation, so it took a while to find a seat.The parking lot was almost full, so some people parked far away and walked into the store.“

So, he started talking about A.J.'s Meat Market & Smokehouse burgers, I'm like, I never heard of them, he goes on about how good the burgers are, and how AJ, prepares them, he (AJ) prepares the pattie like you would do at home, I said you don't get those kinda burgers anymore at restaurants or fast-food for that matter. So you know I had to go there and taste the burger, and let me tell you, it was delicious, the only thing I didn't like is that he put the mustard and mayonnaise together, I like my burgers, mustard on one side and mayonnaise on the other side. But other than that it was good, plan to visit him soon and again.“

“Me and my wife dined here today after going to Froberg’s, she got brisket and I got ribs, both were phenomenal! Both were super tender and ribs literally fell off the bone, we got sweet potato casserole, Mac and cheese, mashed potato’s, and cornbread dressing. All were real good except the Mac and cheese, overall what really counted was the meat and it was amazing and I’m so glad they put BBQ sauce on the side because you can’t disgrace good bbq with sauce. We will definitely go back!“

“Skip Killens and Corkscrew, Patriot BBQ is the best in town, hands down. Peppery bark is perfection on brisket. Sides are so good you'd slap your mother in law (twice ????)I can't wait for them to make the hot sauces again. RUN, don't walkout here!“

“I had the salmon. Cooked to perfection. The T bone and filet were excellent. I did not care for the marinade on the kabob but that doesn't mean someone else may not like it. I'm just not a big fan of marinades for beef. Our waitress was fantastic and accommodating. Good job.“
