“This is our second time dining in here. The food was delish but Saifullah's personable service and attention to their guests makes it even better. Try the kabab platter and the chicken jalfrezi. You wouldn't be disappointed. Ask for recommendations. Hands down, a great Desi restaurant to frequent often....“

“Had such a great time here, seen this place over the last 10+ years and very happy with how it is right now. Staff is very nice and caring and went out of their way to make sure me and my family were good and if we needed anything. The food was also very fresh and tastes so good! The buffet was fresh and they were continuously bringing out fresh items. The price was unbeatable for the buffet and my favorite items were the butter chicken, chicken biryani, and gajar halwa! Best naan ever and the fried fish was also very good.“

“Never tried Indian cuisine before coming to this place. It was good and they have a buffet for lunch only which was really good and convenient. Me and my wife will be coming back. The price for the buffet for the two of us was right at $40. I’m not an Indian cuisine expert but I would recommend this place. The service was great and they were friendly. Yes will be coming back!“

“I order pick up, and their food is always delicious. The staff is friendly and the inside smells so good and feels so nice. I definitely want to dine-in in the future.Parking: There is plenty of parking and a dedicated take out parking area as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of ramps to get in and out of the building. Doors are not automatic, but otherwise very accessible.“

“Looks like they may have lost their sign in a storm, so aim for the Indian supermarket next door!!GREAT food, but just getting started as a restaurant. This used to be Star Grill and I expect under new management. The staff were very friendly/helpful and the food was GREAT.There was not such a variety of menu choices as I might expect (e.g. no potato/cauliflower type dishes), but what we had tasted wonderful. The atmosphere is a work-in-progress, I hope they lose the canned sodas and refrigerator machines in favor of a more traditional style dine-in restaurant.Unusual to see a table-tennis table in the corner, but I expect it may be a leftover from the previous version of this place. The butter chicken was perfect, the biryani wonderful - but be conscious that some chicken dishes have bone-in chicken pieces.Go for the food, not the decor!“

“We came to spend long weekend to Houston with our extended family. We are basically vegetarians. We tried multiple restaurants and finally ended up here. The Veg Biryani and Paneer Biryani are top class! The Nans and curries are also excellent. Thali is not upto the mark. But the Biryanis, Nans and curries are top class. We will definitely recommend this place“

“Typical south Indian restaurant where the food is definitely quite authentic and it is a nice ambience, and the hostess is very welcoming and traditional. We had the vegetarian south Indian Madras Thali which was very fulfilling. They have buffets on Friday Saturdays and Sundays and the variety includes about six or seven along with the rice or chapati/poori. The taste was definitely delectable and authentic. But once you eat, you're going to be really full, so make sure that this is one of the things you are going to take some rest after. The aftertaste is amazing.“

“This place is one of my favorite Indian restaurants and I ordered the Butter Chicken with dark meat and double rice on Wednesday night. It was very creamy, rich, spiced and very delicious with a dense tomato gravy and plenty of chicken. The rice was very good, moist and fresh as well. The profile of this meal was nicely savory and very mildly sweet with a nutty, curry flavor in the mix. The service was very friendly and attentive. The quality of the ingredients was also good stuff. The butter chicken is highly similar to their chicken tikka masala, but a bit creamier, a tad sweeter and a bit less spicy. Both excellent either way.“
