“On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.“

“Ok. So I ordered our door dash. I was not disappointed. I called the restaurant to confirm there menu is halal. I had the meat lovers pizza and club sandwiche. It was so good. I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. I wish I knew about this place when I was pregnant“

We reached out and they were able to accommodate our large party (30 people) which we are extremely grateful for. “At first, I was skeptical from the outside. It didn't look good and then we went inside and it was empty, but I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent service from our waiter he explained the menu to us gave us lots of options to customize our meal and when our food came, it looked and smelled good. Yes it was plastic utensils and paper plates but the food was delicious and plentiful. Our server came back with free refills and asking if we had enough. If you leave hungry from here you did something wrong.“

It’s a more modern look than the traditional Mexican restaurants. The music was great and there were large TVs playing soccer at the time. The food was awesome. Very good margaritas. I thought about it for days, wanting to go back. There’s a big seafood entree that looked yummy, not sure what it included but I want to find out!“

“What an unexpected culinary treat. We wanted to try out Mantu after reading a favorable article about it in the RTD a few months ago. We belong to a gourmet group and I can't wait to bring them back with me to this delightful restaurant. Our dumpling appetizer of an encrusted whole egg was subtle, different, and enjoyable. Our main course kebabs were nothing like meat and veggies on a skewer, there were no skewers in sight just wonderfully grilled, tender, and amazingly flavored lamb and vegetables. Our desserts of custard with fruit and a very imaginative take on baklava were a perfect close to the meal. In the end, it was the remarkable and very different use of unusual spice combinations, together with a friendly and engaged staff and chef that will guarantee our early return. P.S. the Afghan cuisine, if you have never experienced it, is quite different from the cuisine of India and Nepal.“

“I live Yoshi Sushi! They have always given me great service and very tasty food. I worked with sushi restaurants for about 10 years and I can say that the quality is great for the price. I always get the Tropical roll, it’s like dessert. The sushi rice is delicious, cooked just right. Nothing worse than sushi with overcooked rice. The foods that come from the kitchen are also great. Shrimp and veggie tempura, hibachi, and yaki soba are among my favorites.“

“Friday 3/22/2024 This spot right here is a black owned restaurant that absolutely gets it RIGHT. I got the 2pc catfish special $10.75, snack & fries $11.85, and bread pudding $5. Both the fish and the catfish were very good and the tar tar sauce is a great sauce for it. I'm a fan of the fries as they were crispy and seasoned well. The bread pudding was a bit smaller than i expected and it comes with a lemon glaze icing on the side (which it didn't really need but that's just me). The bread pudding smelled amazing and it tasted pretty good as well. I 100% recommend this spot and I would definitely come back if I was ever in the area again.“

“I was visit my parents and walked through our neighborhood to get some local coffee and breakfast on a Sunday morning. While I couldn’t sit/order inside because of the dogs, the barista was more than accommodating to take my order from their outdoor seating and bring me my food and drink. I don’t think it was on the menu but I ordered and espresso soda (espresso, club soda, vanilla syrup) and the barista was once again very accommodating and made it no problem. It was super good! I also ordered an egg and cheese on an English muffin which was delicious. Seemed like white cheddar and a soft fried egg. Would highly recommend this local place! I also appreciated how early they were open on a Sunday morning. I paid about $11 before tipping.“
