“Great small bar to have an excellent cocktail and great food.Stopped by for a drink and small bites. Have not been here before, pleasantly surprised.AtmosphereVery small inside, but a cozy feel. Full bar, and small tables, perfect for couples or small groups. Sat at the bar, ordered drinks and appetizers. The food is the same menu from Fortunato need door, a very good Italian kitchen and Neapolitan pizza restaurant. That was packed (Friday at 7pm), so if you don’t have reservations, this gets you the same.ServiceOutstanding! The young woman who was tending bar was excellent…knew everything about the menu, and was attentive yet not intrusive. Best part was when I asked is she could make a traditional daiquiri (shaken, neat in a coupe glass). This is a sticky point at most bars these days as most often the bartenders have no idea how to make something like this, even though it’s been around for years. However she said it was a favorite of hers, and served me a perfectly made, delicious daiquiri. Also made my wife an excellent old fashioned…well done!FoodWe ordered a couple antipasti off the menu, Lamb meatballs and Formaggi, both were amazing. The meatballs were delicious, spiced perfectly, in a tasty marinara and cheese sauce. The Formaggi was also delicious, 3 small cheese varieties, with bread, artichokes, and an amazing Mostarda, which is similar to a chutney but made with fruit, in this case we were informed, strawberries. Outstanding flavor to all our food, and the two appetizers were perfect for a light meal.Only very small down for us was the music was a bit loud, and sometimes a little too frantic. Yes, sigh…we are older, and always are aware of loud music! It wasn’t overwhelming, or we would have not stayed, but that would be our only small critique.Very much enjoyed our visit!Would I go back…absolutelyWould I recommend…most definitely“

“My wife and I found this amazing hidden gem on accident. We both agree this is a must visit location. We had the Reina Pepiada -Chicken Salad Arepa, Cobb Salad, La Cachetona Salad, Tequenos and garlic knots. When I tell you the food was absolutely delicious, the staff especially our server was the most amazing human being. The only regret we had was not catching his name.We will be back here for sure. Do yourself a favor if you just want a great spot with good food, service and atmosphere swing by!Dietary restrictions: It seemed like they had vegan options but I am not sure about others.Parking: Parking right across the street in parking lot and street parking.Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant with boothsWheelchair accessibility: No stairs“

“We were warned when by locals that the slices were huge. So we order a share slice for my husband and I and our two a adult children who were with us ordered one each. It was the perfect amount for all of us. The pizza was delicious. I love the pictures all over the wall. We have recommended it and will take friends to it when they are visiting the area for the first time.“

“Always good, always busy, usually food is ready when they say it will be. Fabulous meatballs, FYI, if you get a meatball sub it will have sliced meatballs. Try the Alfredo sauce, you won’t regret it!!Parking: You can found a spot on the street, or you could always park in the upper part of the co-op parking lotKid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly, don’t seem to mind crying babies, or tantrums from toddlers. They’ll give you some pizza dough for the kids to play with while you wait.“

“Absolutely one of my favorite local gems. Bobby's is the perfect marriage between quality NY style pizza and the fresh artisanal pizza of California. My fiance and I have eaten here multiple times now and nothing has ever been less than perfection. The dough is crispy and chewy and buttery and full of flavor. All the sauces taste like they were made with love by my Italian grandmother. If you're visiting Roanoke or you live here this is a must!! Not only is the food perfection but the staff is always incredibly friendly and personal. Ready to recommend their favorite beer and pizza combination. The atmosphere is a laid back family friendly slate shop type of vibe and it just works. The decor is fun and quirky without being disruptively loud. They have lots of amazing local and craft beers to try along with the heavenly food. This time we had a pizza flight (three different slices of amazing pizza)Cheese curds, bacon, and red sauceChicken and bacon Alfredo calzoneBut honestly you can't go wrong with anything!!“

“Blaze Pizza is a really nice place for pizza. In case you've never been, it is a cafeteria like place. You pick your dough, or combo of toppings, your drink and then you pay. You move down the "pizza assembly line" and then choose your sauce. Next station you choose your cheeses. Next is the actual meat toppings and finally the veggies. They offer rising thick crust or a thin crust which are all fire oven cooked. If you have young kids it is fun for them to make all their own choices (with a little nudging and reminding from an adult). They keep quite busy, but we did go on a Saturday. You find a seat and a server will bring your food to your table, identified by your order number. The manager was walking through the room interacting with the customers and trying to keep the kids entertained. You need to check this place out.“

“The food was good and fast. The staff was friendly. One issue is if you get the combo meal that comes with 10% off game cards and use a coupon for free tickets it will not work together. Also the games seem like they are not awarding tickets after two 90 minute cards plus bonus 1000 tickets only had 2100 tickets. Overall nice place to take small kids.“

“After a long hike to Tinker Cliffs, I met my best friend and his son at this restaurant for lunch. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and the adult beverages are ice cold. The men's restroom is very clean considering how much it gets used but the toilet paper is a little on the rough side. Other than that this restaurant is a fantastic place to get together with family and friends. We will definitely be back again.“

“Wings were delicious! Service was great, as well as the atmosphere! I did the build your own burger, and it was black on the underside. Very disappointing! My spicy pineapple Margarita had zero heat. Would have been better with jalapeño slices or something to add spice. The mule was wonderful.the chicken/pimento sandwich was delicious.“

“Went here for lunch around the holidays and ordered the Bellacinos Super. Staff were pleasant, the place was clean and the pizza itself came out pretty quick! Pizza is cut into squares which I enjoy, however I gravitated towards the outside crust pieces as the middle ones were a bit floppy. If you like gooey floppy pizza this place is probably your jam, the crust itself was pretty delightful and the cheese was overflowing. However I am a crunchy thin crust kinda girly, so I may try some more pizza places. Honestly if this place made some calzones I bet they'd be delish!“

“I had the old-world style pizza (no cheese), and it was absolutely delicious! I eat plant-based, so when I heard about this place I had to give it a try. It’s amazing how quality ingredients can make something so simple SO delicious. I absolutely loved it and am SO thankful to them for offering such a delicious non-dairy option! My kids also absolutely loved their cheese pizza. They miss pizza from big cities and this did not disappoint!Dietary restrictions: Excellent non-dairy option! The Old World Style pizza is perfect!“

“Okay review time - me, I worked in NYC for 40 years so I know my pizza. I gotta laugh every time I see NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA - seems most Italian restaurants say that but pizza is terrible. Now Frank's Pizza is different - I really like the plain cheese pizza - crust was crispy, good quality mozzarella cheese - melted perfectly...just enough sauce.“

“I hope corporate is paying attention to Ben Johnson, the ONLY employee working today at Pizza Hut. He deserves a raise. I walked in, was greeted, paid for my pizza, and handed my order within 3 minutes, and this man is running the store ALONE. Please, pay him what he's worth, no excuses just hard work. The world needs more people like Ben!“
“Food was great. But the girl at the drive thru window who just yanked my money out of my hand and didn't even bother taking my change slammed the window shut before I could say anything. This business needs some management and customer service skills taught to them. They appeared young and unbothered by their actions making me to rethink ordering from this business ever again!“

“This was a fun local spot to have dinner. Took my three kids there and they really enjoyed making their own pizzas. It's a fun little tavern type place. We happened to get there while there was an open table, but it def gets crowded and they do not take reservations. It was cold out so the patio wasn't open but they did have a fire going in the outdoor fireplace. Food was good and the wine was a nice big pour!“

“We went for lunch for my daughter's 9th birthday and it was great! There are plenty of televisions in the dining area playing child friendly movies that everyone can watch while enjoying their meal. There's an arcade room in the back, but it's not distracting to the customers in the dining room, which is great!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!! It has all the things kids love, pizza, cartoons, sweets, soda, and video games!“

“I have to say think you to this Dominos. They are consistently awesome. The order is always right and their delivery is so quick. Last night I won a FREE pizza. Some times when something is “free” it is subpar but the free pepperoni pizza was delicious! Thank you for your amazing, consistent service. You all rock it out every time!!!“

“We were the only ones that were in the restaurant. I have not been to Frank’s in awhile so I figured I’d stop by. I bought a vegetable calzone. It was tasty other than the crust was a bit dry and a bit over brown for my liking. Staff was very nice.“

“Fortunato serves upscale Italian food in a pared down but trendy atmosphere. Yes, the semi/rustic style means diners either need to sit close together or shout to be heard. I was one of a weekday evening of a party of three all of whom love to try new food. Starting with the formaggi (cheese platter) to cannoli and semifreddo dessert, we were not disappointed. Each of us ordered a main dish. The vegetarian chose homemade pasta with a creamy cheese sauce; the meat eater, pork Milanese; and I, the roasted whole Branzino. I elelcted to trythis fish for comparison with similar dishes in a favorite Oriental restaurant. Fortunato’s Branzino preparation won hands down for me. The flesh was perfectly prepared - moist, tender, and almost falling off the bones. The side complimented the fish perfectly. I finished my cannoli accompanied by an espresso and a smile on my face.“
