I really enjoy Pascolo for Italian food downtown- their mushroom pappardelle is excellent, they consistently cook their calamari very well, and I love the whiskey and wine cocktail. I think the wine list is great but I am also an Italian wine fan. Really wonderful restaurant. I've been here twice and both times it was excellent. There was an issue with their pasta maker one night and the food came a bit delayed, however the management and service was amazing. They comped our meal without even asking and it was completely above and beyond what we could have ever expected. They didn't have to do anything but offered anyway. The food is great quality and so worth the wait. I highly recommend and will be back again.

A very beautiful restaurant with great ambiance and superb food. We stopped in for lunch on a Sat and had a salad and sandwiches. The eggplant parm sandwich was the best I've had. The bread was perfection and really made the sandwich. Arugula salad was simple but quite good. Definitely recommend
