“Having a boss who is from Vermont, she said we had to try a Maple Creemee while we were visiting and I'm glad she did. We didn't get a recommendation of where to go so we found this place by searching google maps. The shop is small but cute. There is very little room inside but lots of seating outside on a nice night. The employees were very busy but still very friendly. There was a board with the staff recommendations and I picked from there, helpful for someone who can never make up their mind. I got a Maple Creemee with brownies and the combination was perfect. Some of the creamiest soft serve I've ever tried. They also have tons of other options and scooped ice cream if you're not a fan of soft serve.“

“Best gelato in Vermont. Also, vegan ice cream/vegan gelato! Along with the amazing dairy gelato, there are always phenomenal flavors in the vegan versions. Paul has been dishing up gelato for years but on each of our annual visits are timing was off. Sometimes he had just sold out. This time we were able to get in and try it and returned day after day. This is the best gelato we've had. People were buying pints of it either to take home or to simply sit outside in the sun and enjoy. Everybody was happy and relaxed. It's dog friendly outside and the parking is right out front on the street. Paul takes great pride in what he dishes up as does his staff, you're always met with friendly faces!“

“This turned out to be a great little place for lunch! I have driven by it many times and mistook it for some kind of an industrial or storage site. I suspect a colorful awning out front would do a lot to make it feel more “restauranty”.There isn’t a huge selection of lunch items and there doesn’t seem to be a way to see which soups are available without talking to someone at the counter, but there’s definitely a lot of ice cream, and the location is certainly convenient for anyone on Commerce st, or the industrial park.“

“Offbeat has fun and creative flavors you’re not going to find anywhere else. I tried their Lemon Meringue and Friend “hard” ice cream. Very flavorful and the serving size was generous. I’m excited to go back and try their cold brew floats. As for seating, I don’t recall there being any. My group ended up sitting in the grass. There is a park across the street, so there may be seating there.Plenty of parking across the street.“

“The food wasn't bad, but the price was on the higher end, and when we got the bill we noticed everything was charged. Extra Mayo? 25 cents. I don't mind the extra but no heads up from server when we made the request. Other than that, the food wasn't bad.“
