“These are the best donuts. I have tried many donuts and these are the best ones and are affordable. The cake donuts are super flavourful with the perfect crumb, and the yeasted donuts are all fluffy inside with a crispy outside. Dunkin, Tims, and Krispy Kreme have nothing on Quality Bake Shop. Go Early and bring Cash.“

“Trying to find a Starbucks replacement closer to home and found out that Dunkin has really amped up their coffee offerings since the last time I visited one! Nice people and fast service if you get just a fancy coffee. Will visit again for sure.“

Belleville Bakery Bakery •
217 College St, Burlington - 5.02 miles

“Alert: there will be a healthy dash of food snobbery in this review :)While the bakery is perfectly better-than-decent (and the location and inside atmosphere great), I was left with the feeling that it could have done much to up their game. Possibly this is mainly considering that it is considered a French styled bakery and one's expectations might be unrealistically inflated. While the offerings (sandwiches, quiches, pastries, cookies, breads, etc) are perfectly fine, they seem very much entrenched in American bakery mode more than French-style. By that I mean that the cookies are thick and heavy and chewey, more for college boys and lumberjacks than anything flaky, light and delicate that would grace any 'rue' in Frnace :)The sandwhich bread similarly feels thick and doughy like more typical American fare than anything thinner and something that won't be visible around the midriff the next day. And the sandwiches are fine but for their price and size feel like even just one added creative ingredient would elevate them from the everyday/everywhere category to something with some more style and uniqueness and semblence of pseudo-French (red wine jelly, dijon mustard, lavender mustard, truffle aioli, red onion jelly, a French cheese...).Belleville leaves the impression of aiming to cater to everyone without alienating anyone by seeming too fancy (like Chef's Corner might to some, but even there it's not exactly French-style). And in doing so relegates itself in some middlezone that's fine but leaving a feeling of, oh it could be so much more! That said, no single review should ever be assumed to encompass the entirety of a place, and their menu changes constantly, so on any given day the experience might differ.“

“First time here, and was as I have read and heard frequently how great it is. Great array of donuts, pastries, cookies, and full-size cakes. The donuts were everything and more of what people say, tried éclairs, large and yummy, coffee roll, the donuts..... Will be back. Go early in the day for best selection as items go quick. Staff was great and don't be surprised if you have to wait as it was busy but worth the wait.“

The Mill Market Sandwich Shop • $$
1580 Dorset St, South Burlington - 5.56 miles

“This was a cool little grocery store/shop. We stopped in to find some Vermont maple syrup which they had. They have a bit of stuff to look at and a lot of unique stuff and some goofy stuff. Plenty of stuff to buy to bring home to friends and family. If you are nearby it is a good spot to stop at for a little bit.“

“I ordered a coffee on the Dunkin’ app and forgot to add caramel, so the coffee only had almond milk in it. The lady at the Dunkin’ counter was so kind and helpful to kindly add the caramel for me even when I made the mistake to forget to add it to my order. I really appreciate the kindness, and friendly customer service. Thank you!“
