“My family of four is from winlock and wanted to travel on a Saturday for breakfast and found this little family restaurant in Longview. We get there and was told it was going to be a 15 min wait and was sat down in a little over 5, which is good. Server crystal was awesome. She was attentive to everything we needed and our meal total was 62 bucks. We got 2 french press coffees (5⭐), eggs Benedict meal(4/5⭐), sausage breakfast sandwich(4/5⭐), chicken fried steak and eggs (3.5/5⭐), two french toast on the side(5/5⭐). We stayed for about 45-50 mins total. We tipped 20 bucks, we will be returning.“

“Their food is SOOOO good!! OmG. We had the pulled pork Mac and cheese pizza and I could eat this pizza every day of my LIFE!!! My daughter got the kids Mac and cheese and I thought it would be like a basic Kraft Mac and cheese and it wasn’t. That Mac and cheese is so yummy and creamy! And it didn’t taste like velveeta!! “I came to Longview for a week long work project and had the opportunity to visit various restaurants and flavor the local cuisine. Longview definitely has a good selection of places to choose from.In my opinion, Country Steakhouse stands as a hidden gem filled with great food options to choose from, including great service and a fun & friendly staff.I came with a group of peers for dinner, and we were all quickly greeted by a friendly waitress. There was no wait time, so we were quickly sitted. Our waiter, Valente (also the owner), was very friendly and attentive. Since I'm in the service industry, receiving great service (especially the basics) is a big deal to me. We were all given menus, napkins, and silverware, and within minutes, we were all served iced water. We were given the right amount of time to make our dinner selection.I always try something new, so I ordered Pot Roast, which came with green beans and a loaded potato. I also ordered a garden salad with blue cheese dressing.My whole group ordered salad, and we all had our salads in no time. The wait time for our dinner was minimal. To top it off, we were all pleasantly surprised when our waitress was being followed by a robot cat server named "Bella." It was actually pretty cool and, in my opinion, not annoying in any way.My Pot Roast was well portioned, hot, and full of flavor (topped with brown gravy). I received a large baked potato with all the trimmings. My green beans were also well seasoned with onions. Even though I was full, I still had room to try their flan topped with whipped cream. It was delicious!Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to the Country Steakhouse. The food, staff, and atmosphere were spot on for my taste. “We are here on a beautiful Saturday morning. There are only 3 employees working at this time. It is very busy. Brett is our server and is doing an excellent job communicating with people. He and Emma are working their tails off. Big shoutout to Ray the cook. They may be a little behind but the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Brett is friendly and funny. He also acknowledged my husband's military service. Way to keep things running smoothly!!!!“
