Along with our regular order, a cold noodle dish with strips of seasoned beef, very addictive flavors and textures. The Korean soup is spicy and full of flavor. “We wanted to try something new for date night a few months ago and came here on a whim. I’m so glad we did because we ended up finding a gem! First of all, the food was amazing. My boyfriend got the gumbo & cornbread, I got the pulled pork nachos & voodoo egg rolls, and we shared the banana bread dessert. Everything was so amazing that my boyfriend asked to speak with the owner. We met the owner & his wife and enjoyed talking to them. The bartender & servers were also incredibly friendly. We’ve been back since then & will definitely continue coming. Love this place!”

“My wife and I have eaten at the Dog Haus for years. The owner and employees treat us like family. The food, including desserts, is homemade and very delicious. Ribs are excellent. It’s your fault if you leave hungry, cause portions are generous. Overall a great place to have lunch or dinner.”

“Out of the way place for lunch on our migration north. We had a kitchen dog and an sos dog with sweet sauce. Fried beans and picked as a side. Of course the slushy root beer. I really liked the open top toasted bun. Everything was very good, order came quickly and friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Drive through available. Lots of local service vehicles in line so you know it is good!!!! Open 11-4 Tues- Sat. I highly recommend.”

“Was craving a good old fashioned hot dog and Mr Diggety did not disappoint! The #10 (sauce, slaw, onion and I add mustard) was perfecto! I usually have hot dogs less than once every couple of years. This place may change me to once a week. Service was so friendly, I came 5 minutes before closing and both the cashier and cook were super nice. And a great price too for those yummy dogs :) There’s a nice little eat in area but I got mine to go.”

“Slow service to start. Didn't even realize we were there. Took around 10 minutes to even be acknowledged and drink order placed. Obviously, not enough help. Wings were very good when I finally got them. Waffle Fries overcooked, which they replaced and did not charge for. Overall, not Impressed. Poor service and long wait time for drinks and food @ a premium price.”

“Stopped in a few weeks ago on my way to visit family over in Marietta. Although this was my first visit at this particular location, I left feeling like a regular. The atmosphere was so inviting and chill. The server really knew the menu, and gave great recommendations. Our, blooming onion, sirloin, and steakhouse mac n cheese were out of this world! Came for the food, stayed for the experience! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!”

“To be honest, Harmer, tavern is buy choice. The best place to chill to have a few beers and good food. Specially during the Spring summer and fall season. They have a outside patio with a very comfortable feeling lots of seating That is pretty lit and the type of people that go there. Are more about business then you're typical rowdy bunch. The best part is bartenders in Bakersfield. In the people that work there are very hospitable in pleasant. They don't ignore you like at dive bar. Honestly can't think of one thing I don't like about it.”

My mother-in-law loved her food.My biggest take away was the staff. Not friendly when greeting customers and no one looked liked they wanted to be there. “They have excellent food. The chips and shells are particularly well done and the rice is fluffy and delicious. The only problem is that the salsa is subpar, quite bitter and not tasty. The salsa alone is what keeps this from being a monthly consideration to a quarterly option. Compared to their outstanding chips, the salsa is beyond a disappointment and more of an a disgrace. The entrees are well portioned and come out hot. Service is typical.”
