Ok place to stay. We were treated nicely. Rooms ok but very dated and a little musty. Decent hotel but it lost most of my rating for price as it’s close to what the rest are on outer down town and is certainly NOT up to the same standard.Rooms: Dated and a little musty. Lots of air freshener smell everywhere.Walkability: Long walk if you’re planning multiple trips down town

We recently stayed at the Rundlestone 5 nights and probably wouldn't stay there again. The location was good and the staff were exceptional but the hotel was outdated and in need of some TLC. Our room had holes in the wall where the hairdryer used to be, they have DVD players in each room, the restaurant was shut down, most of the vending machines were out of service, bathroom in the fitness center had an ashtray (1980's?), the pool and hot tub were clean but there was full review
At the north end of Banff Avenue a good stiff 20 minute walk to the centre. A 2-room suite for 3 nights in Banff - principally to visit the Icefields ( cancelled last minute ) and Lake Louise/Moraine Lake. The suite was fine (if a little "brown") with a kitchenette so we could organise our own food and a supplementary fire if needed. The rooms were a good size, towards the back, and quieter, each with bathrooms and a mountain view. The underground car park with access just full review
