Zyka Elevated Indian Restaurant Banff

We sat outside and it was such a vibe — perfect weather, cozy setup, and great service. The food was really delicious, especially the pakoras, which was crispy and full of flavor. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving good Indian food.

We had such a wonderful experience at Zyka in Banff! As a group with Pakistani and Sri Lankan backgrounds, we can honestly say the food was authentic, flavorful, and absolutely delicious — it truly felt like elevated home-cooked comfort. Every dish was well-prepared and full of taste.
What stood out just as much as the food was the service. The host was incredibly sincere, thoughtful, and kind, making sure we had the best possible experience. Their warmth and hospitality made the meal even more memorable.
If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Banff, Zyka is a must-visit. We left feeling full, happy, and grateful for such a wonderful dining experience.

Extremely long wait times and tasteless food,
We were served round fryums instead of aata/suji gol gappa.
Better to explore other options rather than wasting time and money at a place that does not even listen to customer feedback.

Located in the heart of downtown Banff with a great but limited patio seating Zyka showed lot of promise. We ordered Amritsari fish, methi Malai mutter, chicken kadhai, butter chicken. Only methi Malai mutter can be recommended rest of the food was nothing really to write home about. The service was slow possibly due to the crowds.

I’m out of words we were literally smashed everything within seconds it was sooo good! The service is even better you feel welcomed and cared for. And the views speak for themselves. Only regret is finding the place on our last day but 100/10 recommend to everyone!
