Bought the sugar and pecan tarts. Probably the worst I've ever had. Tasteless. The crust was soggy. I ate 2 and through it out because it tasted a little off.

I hate to leave a bad review but I went to order a poutine yesterday and the person as the counter sighed heavily and seemed annoyed. I was confused and asked if there was no poutine and they said “It’s just hot”. It was hot at the farmer’s market yesterday but I think there has to be a solution - either a fan or don’t serve hot food during the summer months. She said she would still make it but I was already put off. Went to the BBQ place for a poutine instead and no one got mad at me for ordering hot food there… This used to be my favourite poutine place but it has gone downhill :(

We always stop by and pick up a few quiches for breakfast when we are visiting family. The ham quiche is our favorite.

The best of Montreal in Calgary!

Their smoked meat sandwiches were delicious! And their poutine is as authentic as it gets 👌

Reminds me of my years in Montreal. I had a steamed hot dog, or “steamie” as we called it in Montreal. Was exactly the same. Staff should speak French though, just to make it a little more authentic. She did tell me she was the only employee who didn’t speak French in the company so I guess it’s okay.

Easily the best poutine I've had in Calgary. & trust me, I've had alot of poutine. Squeaky curds, perfect fries, delicious gravy. Had me missing Montreal

If you have allergies be careful, they don't put 'may contain' warnings on their fudge even though when asked they said it does may contain nuts. It's always smart to ask but it also needs to be labelled properly in Canada. It's an issue waiting to happen.

For me personally, I didn't enjoy my lunch. For just under $25 I got a sandwich and poutine, which is more than I expected to pay. I'd prefer a half size for the poutine and a smaller up-charge to get Reuben instead of smoked meat sandwich, for about $18. The ingredients were good quality and the service was friendly, but the food was all wet and soggy. If you want the details, read on.

I ate the poutine within 2min of it being served but the fires were not crispy despite being fresh. I prefer other poutines with different fries that don't become soggy as soon as gravy is applied. The sandwich was also very soggy, and the meat was cut thick chunks rather than layers of thin slices. I couldn't taste the sauce on the sandwich, but overall it didn't have much flavour.

The people are very sweet and I love that they are bringing different flavours to the area. Unfortunately, it just wasn't for me.

Love absolutely everything I purchased at this booth. The pies and pumpkin bread are heaven, best poutine and cheese curds in town. The woman who helped me was wonderful and so kind. I will definitely be back.

Not only do they have the best selection of authentic maple syrup, but the poutine is original. Fries made fresh on site gravy is rich and delicious, cheese curds just the right tartness, complimenting the gravy.
Must eat here!

I wish I could rate higher. Maybe it's because I waited an hour to eat it when I got home but the poutine is terrible. The gravy is tasteless but the fries are the worst. For sure frozen and not at all tasty. The fries are the main part and it ruins it for me. The cheese is good though but that's it. Might as well just buy the cheese curds and make your own. For the price it's not worth it at all. Better poutine at A & W

I have been a customer of this establishment since it opened at the South Calgary Farmers’ Market. I certainly enjoy the Montreal smoked meat sandwiches and French fries sold here. On July 18, 2024, I decided to try out a steamed hot dog with fries. I am a senior, handicapped, as I have mobility issues, and must use a cane due to osteoarthritis. On this day, I was served by a most exceptional and caring person, Lori. I told her that I would have to sit at a table halfway down the aisle for my order, since the table and chairs right beside Flavours of Quebec were just too high off the ground for me to climb up on. I was very pleased when Lori came all the way to me with my order, plus brought me extra condiments and a straw for my drink. She was smiling and so pleasant. She made me feel like I cared. I will most certainly visit Flavours of Quebec again, not just for the delicious food, but also the wonderful customer service, especially by Lori.
