This is by far the best Katsu in Calgary. It's a small restaurant so we usually opt for take out and it's always exceptional quality.

My favorite Katsu restaurant in town. Everything is done perfectly. I'm particularly pleasantly surprised by the chicken Katsu, which wasn't dry at all!

Great food, but terrible service. The woman in the shop was rude. For a place that has so few tables, you'd think it would be easy for her to do her job, but she was difficult to flag down and extremely unpleasant.

Terrible and unattentive service, did not feel welcomed at all. Not coming back.EDIT: owners response clearly shows their careless and unattentive attitude. Obviously we are not the only dissatisfied customers as their response is not even relevant to our experience. Deserve only 0 star.

Horrible service. Rules are insane. This must be a first time restaurant owner.1) How do you run out of food at 7 PM on a Friday?2) Would not hold a table for us because one person was parking while 7 people were present.Do NOT come here.

Food is really good but the service is not. Maybe because they were busy when we went. The place is very small so good for take out but if you are looking for a sit down dinner it’s not the place for you.Parking: Street parking only. During dinner rush you won’t find parking.Kid-friendliness: Not infant friendly. Not enough room for stroller or car seat. Toddler and bigger kids are okay.

Busy little no nonsense shop with substantial portion sizes. We went for dinner around 6:30 pm on Black Friday. It had been a busy day, and they had run out of ramen as well as the pork and cheese katsu. My prawn Katsu bowl was tasty (on the salty side) and the breading on my prawns was light and beautifully crispy, but oily. We were very full for the rest of the night!Vegetarian options: Not a lot of choices for vegetarians, just the cheese katsu. There was one prawn dish for the pescatarians.Dietary restrictions: The menu doesn't call out dairy-free or gluten-free options, possibly because there aren't any.Parking: We found free parking down the street after 6 pm.Wheelchair accessibility: Seating is tight. Aside from maybe the table closest to the door, it would be tough to get a wheelchair in there.

Very small shop, with big flavor. The dishes are super filling, the meat is tender, and overall an amazing experience. Highly recommend.
