This used to be our favorite spot, but ownership has clearly changed and the food is unrecognizable - had the calamari and ended up getting sick. So disappointing.

This used to be one of the most delicious places to eat in the city and now it’s a complete disappointment. New ownership means higher prices, smaller portions and poor taste. So disappointed

Been coming here for years. Since they changed to new owners and revamped it to “fusion”, the quality of the souvlaki has dropped considerably. It was a really disappointing. Bland and tasteless. Too bad.

Used to be one of the best Greek places in town. Ownership has changed and quality, flavour, and value have gone way downhill. Don't go.

I'm not sure how recent it was, but this is not Kreta any longer. It looks like it was acquired by another owner and they changed the name. The food was dry and slightly over cooked, and every piece was covered in a spice that was quite bitter and I couldn't finish my portions. We got calamari, mousaka (cut in half in the photo), a beef platter, and two portions of baklava (as well as a Gatorade from the gas station). For all this, it was $75 including tip. I will absolutely not be going back

2 souvlaki plates with uncooked and forgot to put Tzatziki in the bag. Called in and I had to drive 15 minutes back to get 4 new skewers and tzatziki. Did not offer refund, did not replace whole meal so rest of platter was cold by the time we got to eat it. Very disappointing and won’t be going back after supporting this place for the last couple years. Not good value either

First time ordering the food here after new ownership.

The calamari which have been amazing for the past 10+ years are now just trash worthy. They are tiny thin cuts. Taste like rubber, with a burnt oil aftertaste. You probably need to use new cooking oil, not week old oil to cut costs.

The chicken platter literally comes with one skewer!!!. Don't know if that's the norm now a days but comparing this platter to a shawarma platter. Shawarma wins hands down.

I won't be coming back here, the food is definitely worth the price. 2 platters and 1 calamari comes out to $55. Brutal quality and quantity of food for the price tag.

It's always sad when a legacy ends but you hope the new owners will still with what's working, why buy the business if you aren't going to at least try? It's now called fusion soulvaki but I'd rename it to treasonous soulvaki.

I ordered a wrap, Greek salad. And calamari and it was $43.

The wrap was actually okay but the Greek salad was just cucumber with powered feta and 2 olives. Super disappointing. The calamari looked like they ordered it from temu. It was really over cooked and really rubbery. I didn't even eat it.

The staff wasn't very friendly on the cooking side but the girl at the gas station was okay.

I won't be going back unless there are no other places open and I am desperate.

We used to love the pizza at Kreta, but it is nothing like it used to be, now that it is under new ownership. The pizza is thin and dry and lacks flavour. The current cooks are very friendly, but unfortunately we will not be returning since the food was mediocre at best.

I miss the baklava! The new ownership is clearly not making it in house anymore; it’s store bought and not even good store bought. Too bad! I know things change when ownership change but this is a real loss for the area. We won’t be back. Also, while I was waiting for it, I didn’t love the food practices I saw in the kitchen. Not the safest.

Poor value for money. One little skewer of meat in a $16 plate. Everything had a bitter chemical taste. Tzatziki sauce was good though

I can't express enough how sad we are about the new ownership. Kreta used to be our favorite take out. It's NOTHING like it used to be. The pizza is thin, dry with basically zero cheese (when it used to be THE best pizza!!) The lemon roasted potatoes didn't have a hint of lemon, the rice was dry with no flavor. Even the Greek salad was dry. Chicken dry.... Tzaziki horrible... everything bad!! They even sent us with a Ceasar salad and no dressing.
So sad to say we won't be ordering from there again.
George we miss you!! You were the best chef and always a friendly face.
