Ordered the crêpe with berries and whipped cream. The strawberries were sour, and mushy and sort of slimy. They looked like the kind that you got from the can, but those are usually sweetened with syrup and these were quite sour and mushy so I suspect they were just very old. Very disappointing to order something that was basically inedible, especially when the market has fresh strawberries all around them. Maybe their other crêpes are better but I won’t be going back.

The filling in my crepe was not even warm, very disappointing. But worse, I witnessed a worker drop a strainer on the floor, she picked it up and continue to use it. She did not wash it, or use another strainer, she used it off the floor. I spoke to the cashier about it, and she just smiled. I will go hungry before I ever purchase from Ma Bonne crepes

They don’t do well with savoury crepes. My wife and I got the #12 and 13. Both were equally terrible. When we asked for refund (two bites taken) the owner lets us know “this is how the French eat” and refused to give a refund. The diners beside equally found the food terrible.
Would avoid due to the combination of bad food and bad customer service.

This used to be my go-to at the Calgary Farmers Market on Blackfoot until the ownership changed from its French owners to Asian staff. The new ownership kept the same French name and menu but lack the understanding of French cuisine. To wit, their #21 basic ham and cheese sandwich which they insist on now toasting.Today, we asked non-toasted and the response we got was « well, many like it toasted » and they proceeded to toast it.Poor customer service and a lack of adherence to its former traditional aspects.Non merci!
Love and enjoy the food and have been there many times and will continue to come in but I did come and ask for a buckwheat pancake (I'm gluten free) and there was a girl that was serving me that seemed to have an off day (which is understanding, we all have our bad days) she had mistakenly cooked a regular pancake when I had asked for a buckwheat (my friend had clearly heard me say Buckwheat) and was on her phone while the pancake was cooking away, I did receive it a little burnt but i still ate it and it was delicious. Don't be on your phone texting while a customer is waiting for their food and mistakenly took the wrong order and just slowly burning away.not great customer service, will continue to go there but maybe when this specific worker isn't around, sorry to say! Also this was in the NW farmers market. next time you are serving a customer maybe don't use your phone when you are serving your customers.
