We used to come here a lot, but we moved out of Calgary, so we thought we would stop-in because we were passing through. We ordered the masala chipsi and beef ribs. The ribs were as good as I remember, but the masala chipsi was terrible. It was basically warmed up tomato sauce on fries. Very disappointing given how good this place was before.

I was at safari grill for the first time as I entered I was mesmerised by the decor of African theme the staff welcomed us with great respect just like in Africa where I was born it felt great I was visiting from LA and was craving some African foods I was so impressed with their service and the food oh the food was sooo delicious just like in Africa every dish that we ordered was scrumptious what can I say I was in Africa and back within an hour we need you guys in LA

Honest to god one of my favourite places in Calgary. The ribs and curry with chapati is iconic levels of good. If you ever want to try Kenyan styles food or fusion-esque this is a must.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Safari Grill. When I called to inquire about their menu, the person on the phone was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They did not answer my questions and abruptly hung up on me when I was trying to place an order.
This kind of customer service is unacceptable. As a potential customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy. Unfortunately, Safari Grill failed to deliver on these basic expectations.
I would not recommend Safari Grill based on my experience. If they cannot provide good customer service over the phone, I can only imagine what the service would be like in person.
