Food is really good but likely the Tiniest kebobs in the serving, disappointing. Taste was awesome
They never disappoint! Fresh and hot. Not much food with the bowl though vs the price.

their wraps tasted good but the fries portion is not the best and a little overpriced as well.

This Afghan restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food is full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The kabobs are juicy and tender, the rice is fragrant and fluffy. Every dish tastes authentic and made with care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the restaurant is always clean and comfortable. If you’re looking to try authentic Afghan cuisine or just want a delicious meal with friends and family, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been coming to Taj Kabob for years (both locations), but we found ourselves extremely disappointed with our experience today. We haven’t been in a year, and since then, the portions are about 70% of what they used to be. We know times are tougher for everybody, but this is just unfair.
Moreover, the food was excessively oily, and we were not served at the table as was the case in the past. I was also very disappointed that we were given plastic plates for the dine-in experience.
In terms of the taste, the food tasted good, but the fact that the kabuli rice, which is one of the main reasons we like the restaurant, is $2 extra, is crazy to me!!! And in addition to the reduced portions, there was barely any sauce on the rice. Also, if you choose to get the lamb or chapli kebab, you will get an EVEN smaller portion and WILL leave hungry.
The only positive is that the space is clean and is a calm place to eat. But that is not nearly enough reason to eat there.

This is the best Afghan restaurant I've seen in Canada so far. I am from Vancouver and yes I've been to Afghan Chopan. Man the food is so good I am about to eat my fingers. I would make the journey back from Vancouver to Calgary just for this food. Mantu and Lamb Shank Kabuki was out of thos world, trust me I am an Afghan 😅
