Tao Pizza & Steak House has a handwritten sign on the entrance to the restaurant that says No Mask No Service.They're equating their position on the mask bylaw to No Shirt No Service.These two positions are far from equivalent.Tao discriminates against persons with an underlying medical condition or disability.In fact, Calgary bylaw #26M2020 states:Exceptions. Smells like Natural gas in the restaurant enough to make you leave after you walk in. Denise is very unfriendly and is more concerned about her phone and sitting in a booth than the customers.
Owner uses this place as a tax write off. Doesn't keep up with necessary supplies needed for staff and clientelle and doesn't even pay staff for proper hrs worked! Should report him for that.... Great pizza though and a nice hang out for locals in the area but with a lot of nonsense attitude from the staff too! Time for this place ti go and give us locals here a real place to call home!!!
