Frozen burger patties and fries. Average service.In response to the owner's reply:I have upped my rating to reflect the fact that you reached out to me. I came in for lunch around 1:15, had a burger with fries and gravy and 2 beers. The total was just over $40.00 with an 18%tip. The server took my drink order and told me that the 14oz were on special so I ordered that instead of the 20. She then came back and said the special didn't start until 2 (40 minutes). Not a big deal, we all make mistakes. However honouring the special that close to 2 would have been the right thing I think. $16.99 for a burger and extra for the gravy, shouldn't be a frozen patty and frozen fries, or at least get good frozen fries. I don't want to say bad things about any local business during this pandemic but I also feel that it is important for businesses to make sure they deserve our support. We don't go to any chain restaurants any more, we only go to locally owned businesses.

I got curious with this restaurant and so we tried. The place is a bit dark, they have a lot of tv in place and their seats are not too comfy if you are not that tall because your feet will hang. Their service is average. The food is just okay.

We popped into the Toad on 130 yesterday and were greeted by the most welcoming staff. The food was great, the server really helpful and the Manager super nice especially when a couple got way too loud and out of control. We had a great night and will be back real soon. Thanks Toad n Turtle you're awesome!

We enjoy hanging out. Yesterday we found this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We had a beautiful experience there with exceptional dishes and a nice crew and a distinguished cuisine. We put this restaurant in our list and we shall certainly come back very soon. We highly recommend.
