Came in on a Friday night and the small place was packed! Nonetheless we didn’t mind the wait and got seated right away. Asked the young gentleman server to surprise our party of 4 and we enjoyed everything we got, 2 appetizers 2 ramens and 2 rice bowls. So glad we found this on the west side and will in definitely be back to try more dishes!

The food was delicious. I got the karaage bowl and the amount of food I got was well worth the price.
My bf got the ramen and it was very flavorful. A great restaurant in the west end!
We will be back

The guy who took our order is so rude. My son ask for a tissue he look down on my son and like never wanted to give him. He took our order look down on us like showing some rude look. Not even smile on us. My hisband ask for their daily special.. he answered rudely like it is a free noodles.. never go to this restaurant.

This is real ramen. It's actually quite hard to find ramen done well in Canada unfortunately - the base takes days of cooking and the noodles are even harder to get right. The base here is thick and rich like it should be, and the noodles are firm and boiled perfectly. Even the chicken karage was very well done. It seems the place is not run by Japanese, but it doesn't matter because the people making ramen here really know what they're doing!
Often in Edmonton you'll hear names like Tokiwa and Misoya for ramen, which are good, but this is definitely better than both in terms of authenticity and quality for the price. A hidden gem!
Kid-friendliness: My kids had a good time, other families present too.

I’m always happy to have more ramen places in the city. The broth was good, and I have no complaints.
The place is quite small and pricey, but that’s pretty normal around here.
I do not believe this place is a traditional Japanese restaurant, as it serves a small variety of Asian foods. Chef is Filipino, but I overheard that they learned to make Ramen in japan.
At the table, there were only chopsticks. It would be nice to have condiments of any kind at the table. Eg. Black pepper, Grated or diced garlic, Chili pepper, Sesame oil, Rayu (Chili Oil).
Thank you.

The ramen is pretty decent for the price. I felt like it was plenty flavorful and the meat was soft and tender. Portion size was pretty good.
The chicken karaage looked appetizing but the sauce was a little strange (not very flavorful but creamy) and there were bits of uncooked breading inside it.

We had the tonkotsu ramen which we found was quite bland, the noodles were thinner than other ramen we had, and the portion was small. We also tried the karage which was better.

Absolutely outstanding ramen experience! The broth is truly amazing, and the flavored egg is a game-changer. Without a doubt, the best ramen we've had in Alberta. A must-try for any ramen enthusiast!

Best ramen in Alberta. The ramen is impeccable: rich but not too salty broth, thin noodles that well absorb the broth, spot on seasoned half-boiled egg, tender thin/grilled pork slices. Would recommend the ramen anytime

Pleasantly surprised by this small spot with its versatile options. You can order Japanese food here or pizza and burgers. Plenty of seating on a Sunday late afternoon for dinner. Tonkatsu was very good, just needed a bit more meat. Green tea had a nice nutty flavor.
Dietary restrictions: There is a lot of pork on the menu. However, there are beef and chicken menu items.
