Good food and if you stay at the hotel, the omelettes are the best in the morning for complementary breakfast

Ordered a Cajun chicken pasta. There was no Cajun seasoning (or any seasoning for that matter) and it was simply a plateful of pasta slathered with some bland, thick cream sauce. Overall awful.

This is a restaurant located inside of a hotel, food is pretty bad. The pictures here make this food look great but trust me it is not true! Don't waste your money.
Depending on where you live, prices in Alaska are a bit higher than most places. The prices here are a solid $$ for Alaska, but probably a $$+1/2 in most places (like Michigan). The cheapest menu items are burger & fries or fish & chips, both $19 a plate. I'm sure the salmon and steak would have been great, but I didn't feel like dropping north of $30 on my first day in town. It's Alaska, where fresh fish abound, so the choice was obvious. While most fried fish in restaurants is frozen, the fish here tasted fresh. The cod was sweet and flavorful, and the coating was crispy and tasted light. I know it was fried, so I'm not delusional about the health value. But, it was excellent. The chips tasted freshly made, like the potatoes were cut just before dropping in the fryer. Tasty. The Alaskan beer I had cost a reasonable $7, and the mixed drinks were STRONG. Plus, the service was great, with the food arriving quickly and hot, plus the server was wonderful. So, why not 5 stars? There are times when a venue is hot in a good way. Territory was hot in a bad way, as in something like 80 degrees F. I'm guessing they're saving money with rising energy prices, plus the sun was shining through nearby windows, heating up the whole place. I'd guess there aren't many times this is a problem in Anchorage, but it was today. Still, assuming the temperature cooperates, I would definitely come back here again.

Was hoping for better food! Halibut fish and chip fell a little short being in Alaska!

I was eating alone so I sat at the bar. The service was excellent and the halibut was cooked to perfection and very tasty. I was very pleased with everything and ordered the same meal on my return visit 2 1/2 weeks later! I was just as pleased the second time!

Came back to hotel after dinner but still had munchies so ordered a bowl of seafood chowder to go along with the free beer (for guests at hotel during evening reception). Chowder was underwhelming, with very little seafood and a ton of potatoes. Having had great seafood chowder at other Anchorage spots, was disappointing to end the night with that. Still 3 stars though because other folk's food looked good and the service was good.

Service was fast and friendly and the food was tasty and at a reasonable price. I got a sandwich and waffle fries for $12 and it was much better quality than other options in the area.
