Although we weren't initially looking for ice cream, we were drawn in by the scent of fresh waffle cones. The line outside also showed us that we must be in the right spot to get a delectable treat. What a treat it ended up being! The chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream was simply divine. We didn't have any significant issues with this place and would recommend it to anyone in the area.

This ice cream and coffee place had a mix of local and non local flavors. They had several berry flavors as well as fireweed. It's worth noting however that any locally made flavor (including some without berries) is subject to a $1 up charge. The person behind the counter couldn't hear me and answered a question I didn't ask. I was asking about getting two flavors and the person started telling me what fireweed is (which I already knew since I'd been in Alaska for a week at that point). I wanted to try more than one flavor but they don't do half scoops (and two scoops of the locally made flavors would have cost at least $9.50). I just got the huckleberry. The portion was huge and the flavor/texture of the ice cream was good. They were slow to give me change but thanked me for my patience.Mostly this place is just a big counter ambiance wise. They don't have any seating. It looks newer than Millers but I wish I had gone there instead since it seemed like there pricing and customer service were better.

This place has a pretty good variety of flavors, nothing crazy. I tried caramel caribou and I'd rate it 7/10. It had good flavors, but the texture was partially smooth/creamy, and partially "icy". This isn't a wow factor place, but it'll satisfy your sweet tooth after hiking on a "warm" day.

The hot fudge tasted and had the mouth feel of melted plastic, I've had much better. The two kids there couldn't answer a single question any customer asked.

I've cream was yummy and portions were generous. Staff was polite and patient which can be difficult in a heavily touristy area.

Ice cream was good. The lady who run the place was extremely rude. Basically ruins anything nice about the icecream and the beautiful views around. There was a sign that said “i’ll be back…helping at subway”. Went to subway to only ask when/if we can expect the shop to be open. She rudely said “don’t know” and rolled her eyes. Another lady at the counter pitched in with “do u see the line here? N u want icecream?” when I was only asking how long should we wait. Both of them acted as if I was asking them to give me free icrecreams that were guarded by dragons or something ?I will miss the icecream but will avoid the place next time only so that rude employees don’t spoil your mood. The people who own the place really don’t want any sales if they really hired this person to run the place✌️

We ordered a chocolate milk shake, which was almost $10. When she handed it to us it was chocolate milk it was so thin. It had absolutely zero texture at all.

Great ice cream, exactly what we wanted after lunch
Over priced and I asked for one scoop of coconut and one scoop of huckleberry and the guy accidentally scooped just coconut. When I repeated that it was one of each he still charged me for the one he did wrong. Skip this place all together. There's plenty of other ice cream shops

Super ice cream! A lot of choices ❤️? and they have very good coffee! They make the waffle cone themselves. They bake donuts and decorate them themselves. Very tasty. You can see the sign from the road.

Good selection of flavors.

I was aghast at the small size of the scoops on the cones. We got two scoops and the amount of ice cream was what would be usual for a single scoop. The price was expensive but we know were were in a remote, touristy area so the price wasn't the issue. It was the small amount of ice cream that we received for that price. Then, as we were sorting receipts at home, we realized we were charged for a "waffle bowl" and both of us had cake cones. Consider yourself warned.
