While current times have taken the toll of picking a place to eat; I find that Aha was my favorite choice due to the events that brings us to dining out selection. Still nestled in the out cove of the beginning of Trainor Road is the fenced area of Aha Oriental Kitchen. If for nostalgia is how a Military person is greeted from the start of their career beginning with BASIC Training and through to ending contract or overseas station. But the indoor setting is of unique and tranquil home dining as I experienced in my Home Town of Queens New York; Flushing Avenue or Bayside Queens, New York. I would try to have a more dining experience with diner and when they are back with the Sushi/Sashimi menu'. And was greeted with a warm big smile from Sudahn. I am sure I misspelled the name but she was the best in all categories because she was the Host, waitress, server and cashier/cleaner. Very well spoken and a witty and charming personality. Definitely a 5 star rating for a community nestled in a growing neighborhood. Thank you for a lunch fit for Nobility in our town.

The Dynamite Roll is the best! Perfectly done. The scallops are amazing.

Small but inviting restaurant owned by lovely people. If you’re an introvert coming in, you won’t be leaving that wayKid-friendliness: Very kind with children.

Okay food, not the best [Fairbanks AK]This was our first evening in Fairbanks and we were looking to dine at an Asian restaurant that was nearby and this came into our full view while driving down Trainor Gate Rd so we said we'd try it. You can't tell it's a restaurant until we saw the name. The restaurant was empty at around 7:15p. We were given menus offering Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese cuisines and specials. Food prices are on the high side. We ordered Beef Fried Rice and Mongolian Beef entree (this included steamed rice). She did give us complimentary Fried Dumplings which we enjoyed. Two items... $40 later (not including tip). Chinese food was okay, I've had better. We had glasses of water. The server was friendly and chatted with us for a short while when she took our order. We talked about the Northern Lights. After our dinner we paid at the counter. We left while she was in the kitchen but came after us to say goodbye (we were already inside our car) and wished us a nice stay in Alaska. That was nice. Review #3138

The atmosphere is friendly; the surroundings are well-kept and beautiful. Not a lot of traffic at the restaurant by the time we visited, or at least the day we went.Service could have been better. Some confusion about the orders, but all worked out. They did not charge us for the extra plate.Suchi tasted good.Tteokkbokki was not was I was used to. Rice cakes were swimming in the juice instead of a heavy paste.Beef Bulgogi was good.I asked for chicken bulgogi, and the lady said it was spicy. I had never had spicy bulgogi before. Probably they didn't want to cook it or didn't have it. I would appreciate that excuse better. They picked three things out of the menu that they did not have. The kid's menu was not available.Bulgogi tacos were good.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs... That's all I will say.

Lack of service. Ordered food took almost 30 minutes to come out to our table. Ordered a 2nd drink it never came out. Horrible experience. Would not recommend at

Pho was pretty good—on par with Pho House, maybe better. Their Korean food was good, and appetizers were decent. Prices and service was meh, but the place was very clean. I’d come back.

Wasn’t that great. The sushi was not that great. Fried rice was a big portion but not that great. Will not be eating there again.

Delicious food and the sushi rolls are giant but would be better to cut smaller. Service is ok. Will come back again to try other dishes!

The owner, Moon, and her sister, June, were very friendly and high energy people! They told us they only recently started serving breakfast, only Monday through Friday. The breakfast was delicious! Large portions! Eggs to order, toast, bacon or sausage and crispy potatoes! Moon also makes a pancake from her mother's recipe that she uses to make a breakfast taco that was AMAZING! Had to visit an additional time just for that taco! Lunch was also delicious on a different day!

Be careful of sneaky charges! Kids meals say $6 and that they all come with a juice or milk but we were charged $8 for one and charged for the juice 3 different times (and no they did not fix it)!! It also took almost an hour to get our food! I overheard something about hot dog buns, I’m guessing they were out and had to get more ( we got the kids hot dog and fries for 2 of our 3 little ones) but instead of just letting us know I’m pretty sure they went to get more so we had our food for a while before our kids got theirs… we definitely would’ve changed our order if we would have known. In all the food it’s self was just ok and not worth the surprise bill. We also never received our egg rolls we ordered!
