It was a good place for couple of nights of stay. Close to shopping and area attractions. It has a good restaurant downstairs that serves breakfast and dinner!

My wife didn't go to breakfast as they had a snack shop. Later we found that the shop was closed and you couldn't even get a cup of coffee in the hotel! One of the workers said she spent her entire break walking down the street for coffee!! Coffee in the room, but we had checked out and waiting for airport ride.Nearby activities: There's an auto museum a short walk from the hotel.

Stayed as part of our Alaskan land tour. In house resturant extremly expensive, $30.00, for a ceasar salad. Find some place else to eat.

Hotel reissued our room so at 10pm another group came into our room. Disabled our keys (to 2 rooms) as they showed we had already left on the evening we arrived.

Great experience. The lodge is a beautiful place, with a very elegant style. The rooms are cozy, I loved the balcony. The areas around the hotel are clean and well cared. The restaurant is expensive but worth it. The lobby area is huge and elegant, with lots of seats. The location is close to many restaurants and fast foods, only four minutes' drive to the mall. It's one of the best hotels in Fairbanks.Rooms: Beautiful and spacious. The balcony adds a lottle extra enjoyment. Comfortable beds. My only complaint would be the noisy air conditioner. The room includes a microwave and a little fridge.

We kicked off a Norwegian Cruise Land portion here, This appears to be a popular cruise line stop for their land vacations. Our stay was very good, the room was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi is not great. Our Check-in and luggage handling was very smooth (but that might have been facilitated by Norwegian). If you are not a part of one of these cruise groups, you might get caught up in the shuffle of that.

Fine dining, front staff and waiter was amazing! Prices reasonable. Great car museum n trails on site. A bit inconvenient that you have to call for towels and trash pick up but staff made up for it. Very helpful. Umbrellas to use. Very pretty grounds! Good coffee.

The room and hotel was nice, but the customer service was horrible. We left a family blanket in the room. We went to front desk to see if we could go to the room and retrieve it they said the room was already cleaned. They sent us over to another building to see if housekeeping could check and the girl at the counter was ignorant and rude. There was another girl that came in and said" just give her a towel she won't know the difference". I am sorry we own a business and the one thing I have learned is the customer is number one but not at your hotel. We talked to the manager Ruth and she was very nice and said to ignore the ignorant girl that made the stupid comment. You guys still have not found our blanket that was left in the bed, so I 'm not sure what was done with it. I would like to talk to your corporate office so this never happens to someone else!!!

Don't be fooled by the picture here! ALL of the rooms are queen bed only. This side of the resort is mainly used for people on cruise ship off-shore excursions in Fairbanks. The bed was a not only a trampoline, the mattress would not stay in place. There were no amenities, free breakfast, nothing. The only great thing about this place was the fabulous car museum, unlike any we have attended! We recommend the museum. Please, unless you are by yourself run!

Very nice hotel. A lot of WOW factor from the moment you walk through the door. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and a very comfy bed. It included wonderful in room amenities like coffee/coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and in room safe. Hotel is close to the artsy downtown Fairbanks area. Front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on site as well as self serve laundry facilities. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Bear Lodge Resort as part of a tour group. The hotel room I stayed in had BedBugs. I was bit pretty bad. In the morning when I realized they were biting me I immediately contacted the hotel manager (who was in a different building). She called me back in the room and I emailed her pictures of my bites. She said the room would be inspected. After several hours (and the tour group had already left the hotel) she said the report of the bedbugs was minimal activity with only 2 adult bugs. She indicated that the bugs must have been in my luggage. I have NEVER experienced a bedbug bite in my life so NO WAY did I bring them in with my luggage. Very disappointing that they would not admit the room was infested or offer me any compensation.
