I used to like this place, decent tacos...but they absolutely lost a return customer today. Hours of operation states they open @ 3pm on Tuesdays. Arrived today for Taco Tuesday around 3:30, still closed and was told they'd open at 4. I thought, no big deal I'll wait in my truck for 30 min. At 3:55 I returned and waited outside, 4:00 still not open....4:05 still not open, 4:10, still not open, 4:15 still not open, 4:20 STILL NOT OPEN. I finally grew frustrated and quite angry they had wasted my time and I walked away. I will never return to this place.

Best Mexican restaurant in town! Wonderful and quick service, great drinks, and fantastic food! The ambiance gives a classic small town atmosphere with a modern touch. Can't wait to go back next weekend!

We were in town from Southern California for the Aurora, and stopped in for a bite. We have very high standards for Mexican food, but saw it had a 4.1 overall rating.Let us just say this place is great. The food tastes very fresh, servings are large, and service was amazing. Deon was busy but was always attentive and truly cared about customers. The restaurant is lucky to have him.Definitely worth a visit here if you are thinking about it.

We had an amazing experience. The waiter/bartender was probably the best I've ever seen at any restaurant. His name was something like DeShawn. I don't know what he's paid, but he deserves a raise. The food was amazing, the waiter gave refills and checked on the tables very frequently, and it couldn't have been a better experience. I highly recommend the all-you-can-eat buffet.

Our waiter was amazing!!!! We found this little spot when staying for business in Fairbanks. I was in the Springhill suites. Found out taco Tuesday is buy one get one free!!! The food was great, and, besides all that.... I accidentally left my card there when I paid. Two days later I realized I didn't have my card. Called the last place (here) I had used it, same guy working, he still had my card!!! Thank you guys for such amazing service and food!!!

Best chili relenno I have ever had... cheese quest and the margarita was awesome too.... I will be back the next time I'm in Fairbanks!!! One guy serving the whole place he was great!!

A terrific hole in the wall location and restaurant. The food was tasty and well made. The service was excellent and he was also the bartender. The drinks were spot on and he knew his beers on tap. The recommendations were spot on. We were a small group from work but we saw families and couples there. Friendly and highly recommended.

Hands down best Mexican restaurant in town. I got the enchilada dinner and my husband got the taco salad. We were both very pleased. Our waiter was also very nice and did a great job. Be careful, you'll probably get full on the chips and salsa like we did. They make their chips in house and they are very good. They are thick, crispy, and have a nice Mexican seasoning on them. 10/10 would recommend

El Dorado is supposed to open at 1pm. We arrived at 145pm and the place was closed, with a sign saying they'd return at 2pm. We waited until 210pm, but they never reopened.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the AMAZING service. Not sure if he's the owner or just todays waiter but he was so attentive and friendly!! Really goes a long way especially when the food was just good. I got a quesadilla and it came with FIVE sauces. This is truly my dream at a Mexican restaurant. The chips also tasted homemade, crispy, and delicious. I would come again if I wasn't just a tourist :)
