Do not eat here! When we arrived I almost immediately wanted to leave on account of the fact that there was no air conditioning or perhaps they weren't using it. It was even hotter than it was outside and it was very hot outside. Everyone was seated on one side of the restaurant because the server said she could not guarantee that we wouldn't get neglected on the other side. The menu was definitely not what I remembered because she said she was using a short menu because they were short on cooks. We ordered sodas because the beer beer that my friend requested they were out of. Then came the food. I was hoping to get their hamburger because they used to have a very good hamburger but we had to settle on two enchilada specials and I decided to get the nachos. I was told by the other two in our party that the rice was inedible and tasted like it could have come off the floor! When one of them asked for more ice in her soda she was informed that they were short on ice and she couldn't spare to give us any more ice. As for my nachos I got the chicken nachos and searched through so many layers looking for the chicken. Finally it was located at the very bottom of the nachos. It was so disgusting that I left nearly the whole nacho plate over and if you ask anyone who knows me that is unheard of for me to do. I will frequently eat my own portion and then eat whatever somebody would have left over. On top of it my first instincts of I should have leaved came to a nasty climax as I got sick at 4:00 in the morning and had to run to the bathroom! This restaurant gets an f - for service, atmosphere and most especially the food! None of us will ever go back. I would sooner go hungry!

Never in my life have I been asked to vacate an open seat at a bar to let people waiting for another bar seat to open up. Tough luck, sit them at a booth! Fellow was nice about it but good lord, surreal as the rest of Alaska

We were on a night stopover during a cruise. This was just the type of place we were looking to find.
While understaffed the evening we ate, the staff was incredibly friendly and up-front and honest about the wait. Everyone did a great job making this a memorable time.
We had the incredible nachos, onion rings, and a couple of wines. There were generous portions and it was a great time with a very appealing and cozy atmosphere.

This restaurant was such a disappointment. We are not picky eaters and don't have a super high standard or anything. We were sat down at 6 PM and our order was taken almost immediately. We waited 35 minutes for our entrées to come out. One chicken quesadilla, one ground beef quesadilla, and one order of ground beef flautas. The quesadillas were $17 each which was ridiculous and the beef flautas were $19. I've never paid that much for a quesadilla with literally only chicken and cheese on it. No side dishes, not even lettuce. Came with six side sauces which were average. We were given chips and salsa when we sat down and while the chips were crispy, you can tell that the oil was too hot as they were very brown. My son's flautas were also very brown on the outside but still had raw dough on the inside, which again indicated that the oil was too hot. He is a teenage boy who can put away a large amount of food but he refused to finish it because it just was not appetizing. We brought this to the attention of our waitress who said she would speak with the chef but we were still charged full price for it. I can't remember if she even apologized and neither the chef nor the manager came over to apologize or even say anything. We had researched this restaurant a few months ago before coming to Alaska from the East Coast, but the reviews and the pictures of the menu were completely different than what we got today so not sure if it switched owners or what. We left today very disappointed.

I used to like this place, decent tacos...but they absolutely lost a return customer today. Hours of operation states they open @ 3pm on Tuesdays. Arrived today for Taco Tuesday around 3:30, still closed and was told they'd open at 4. I thought, no big deal I'll wait in my truck for 30 min. At 3:55 I returned and waited outside, 4:00 still not open....4:05 still not open, 4:10, still not open, 4:15 still not open, 4:20 STILL NOT OPEN. I finally grew frustrated and quite angry they had wasted my time and I walked away. I will never return to this place.
