Best Mexican food in Fbks, just don't buy the Ceviche. 15.00 for a 8 Oz serving, really felt like robbed.

It’s similar to most Mexican restaurants. Good food. Fast service. Decent prices. We really enjoyed our meal. The waitress helped me pick between my top 3 choices and I was not disappointed. Would definitely eat there again.

Save your money. This place is not good. The chips and salsa were pitiful and sad. They were out of rice. We ordered the fajitas and they drowned them in minced garlic. Just gross overall. I know it’s Fairbanks and there are days when you just really want Mexican food but save your money, go to the grocery store and buy everything you need for queso and tacos because I promise you it will be better and you won’t feel twice as bad because you 1. ate bad Mexican food and 2. overpaid for that bad Mexican food.

The enchiladas and tacos were great. My kid has the burger and said it was very good. The rice didn't have any flavor. The refried beans was a little runny but was full of flavor. The waitress gave us excellent service. The decor was a little over the top. The strange thing is this place has two names: Mayan Palace and Taco Azteca. It seems to be the same place with two entrances and two different signs.

We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday and I’m so glad we did. Restaurant was very clean, service was awesome, and food was amazing. The ‘spicy’ salsa wasn’t all that spicy, but both salsas had great flavor and the chips were fresh. We had the Adobada Tacos and the Barbacoa Tacos, both were amazing…by far the best tacos in Fairbanks. The rice was ok, good but not super flavorful. The retired beans were awesome, perfect consistency and flavor. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Favorite Mexican place in town. Never disappoints. Love their enchiladas, the sauce is to die for! Anything they serve is good. Recently came in with a large party of friends and they even put on special music ? at our request. Definitely recommend Mayan Palace as a great local restaurant for any occasion ?

For the prices it’s not worth itAs a Hispanic It’s definitely Tex max, the food was just not giving Hispanic food. Staff was amazing and super friendly.I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have salsa Verde, the barbacoa was decent, the steak fajitas were eh. I know i was told to say away from Hispanic food when i got into Fairbanks & i see why.All it did was give me the runs.
Margarita was served in plastic solo cup and not salted , water in a red solocup , food was ok.

Came here for Mexican turns out they Mexican't cook here. Ordered a fish taco got a stale flour tortilla with melted craft cheese and tiny little pieces of fish scattered over it. Looked like a 3 year old made it. No toppings or sauce, service and atmosphere is
