It's never open when we go. We have tried 3 different times and get the "we are closing early" or it is closed even though the website says they are open. Oh well.

So good we went both days we were in Fairbanks. Bloody Marys were great. Second day I got their famous meatball sub and it is the best one I’ve ever had.One star off for minor stuff:- better communications w customers as they wait for tables during busy time- some rooms are fun and edgy and others seem like they have yet to get that same lived-in decorated look.Overall = I will go every time I am in Fairbanks.

I’m sure my experience could have been better if my server Mariah understood hospitality. Her personality could suck a cactus dry. When questioned how long she has been working there, she replied that she was the daughter of the restaurant. Now I understand how she is able to retain a job. Anyhow, food was okay, nothing special or memorable about it. I had the salty’s special omelette and Baileys & coffee. I wonder if they get business solely because they don’t have much competition during the winter season.

Really enjoyed this little spot. The process for some of their items were a bit high. Wings were a little light on the meat. Service was a bit chaotic at first as there were only 2 people to cover the start of the lunch rush.

The server was awesome. She seemed to have the entire restaurant and was in charge of seating the tables and running food. Not sure if it's always like that on a weekday afternoon or if they were understaffed Monday. Food was good, Bloody Marys were

Outstanding food - They have many options and after visiting multiple times and trying different dishes, all of them were outstanding.

Never seated after 30 minutes. Those seated waiting additional 30 minutes to order. No one we saw was eating.

What happened here...? When Salty's opened it was amazing! Loved coming here for brunch. It's been on a slow decline though, mostly with the service. The girls that work here are really rude. They're always on their phone, and seem annoyed that you even walked in. The food was really good before, but the last couple times it seems like the food has less flavor, and the salmon we ordered was really dry. We usually get tomatoes and cottage cheese, but now the girls only let you order potatoes. Maybe we'll come back in a year, but not again anytime soon.

Every single time I come I try something new. Anything Vanessa or Monica make is incredible. Josie was a great waitress and handled the busy fast pace atmosphere so well.Always a pleasure ?

Salty is one of the most well-known dinner spots in Fairbanks, Alaska, and after trying their breakfast, it's easy to see why!The chicken waffles were a highlight – fluffy waffles perfectly paired with crispy chicken strips. A delightful combination! And of course there are many more dishes which are recommended on the menu you can try on.The coffee served here is exceptional – honestly, some of the best we've had during our time dining out in Alaska. A real treat for coffee lovers! In terms of service, it wasn't too bad. It may just be reflective of the local culture, maybe a little smile and a little more warm and welcoming will be awesome, especially on morning. But overall, it contributed to a pleasant breakfast experience. If you're in Fairbanks and craving a delicious breakfast, Salty is definitely worth a visit! ?☕

Service was AWFUL. Food was good, ordered avocado toast and mimosa. I’ve had bad service before but this woman was ridiculous, her name was Mariah and she clearly did not want to be there. I would chalk it up to a bad day but it was only 10:30am… no greeting, no checking on us, not a smile, nothing. Anyways, other than the service we did enjoy our meals, debating on returning.

We walked in for lunch on a Saturday and immediately it was apparent that there were staffing issues...staff running around ignoring us with no clear idea of what they were even doing. Finally we were told it would be a 25 minute wait. That time came and went and nothing happened. This restaurant has so much potential and it is a shame to see it ran poorly.

After having dinner here the evening prior, I looked forward to breakfast this morning...heard it would be worth the wait when they opened at 10am.Eggs came after 30 min, but "just waiting on your toast". Ten minutes later, after eating the breakfast before the eggs got any colder, the toast arrived...of course by then breakfast was finished.Service is lacking. Host is more focused on his phone than anything else.Recommend training.
