On an excursion for date day we headed for Bootsie based on the reviews of others. Not disappointed. Some of the best bbq you will ever enjoy. Nice clean little restaraunt.

This place really is a hidden gem. I think if it was in Gadsden they would be crowded every day. It's an older building that has been fixed up and very roomy.So you are greeted by the owner/waitress/manager when you walk through the door. Her and her family are very friendly. We had the fried banana peppers and bacon wrapped pickles for appetizer. Usually banana peppers give me heartburn but these didn't and were very good. The pickles were spears wrapped in bacon and deep fried, my favorite. For my meal I had the special deep fried ribs and Mac n cheese. The mac was good and the ribs were very juicy and had a good flavor and a Smokey base. For dessert I tried a bite of the fudge brownie with ice cream and it was really nice but not overpowering. I will be back.

We ordered an entire pork butt, mac n cheese, loaded baked potato salad, and two lemon pies for Mother's Day dinner for 20. Each part if this meal was delicious. We found this restaurant by looking at reviews on yelp. The people are telling the truth! We ordered on Thursday prior to Mother's Day. The entire staff was so helpful and kind. It made our holiday a breeze. We will be sure to use Bootsie's again! My husband remarked on how clean and homey the inside of the restaurant looked. Thank you! 10/10

Well I went in with high expectations. I will say the food was not bad it was good. It wasn't the best but there really is no best for the variety of palettes we all have. The ranch was very watered down and the bbq sauce was more ketchup than anything it kind of reminded me of sweet and sour sauce. The fries were fried well not too much and not limp and the chicken wings were good and flavored well. The bbq meat was tender and done very well...the mac and cheese was creamy and good...the baked beans were flavored well....so in all there were some good things and only a few that left more to be desired. For the price no I don't think it was that great. What I have pictured was 59 dollars that's the food and 2 teas...the lady at the desk was super nice and answered every question wonderfully. I appreciate the professionalism.

Food was absolutely amazing. It's an amazing place to eat at if you live in the area. My only "complaint" was the BBQ sauce was a little too sweet. But everything else was spot on. Deff recommend 100%!!

We decided to check out Bootsie's in Downtown Attalla , when I first walked in they welcomed me ? such beautiful smiles! We ordered wings , and a bbq sandwich, a kids meal and an appetizer (loaded fries) for all of us to share. Let me just start off by saying the wings were delicious , from what my husband said “These wings are better than ********** “ ? I’m not going to name the restaurant but I like their wings too but these are better. The seasoning and the crispness of the wings were just perfect. Looking forward to bringing my family to this good BQQ place. ?5 customer service, 5 on the food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a cute little place in Downtown Historic Attalla. We started off with fried pepper rings with ranch. 10/10 recommend. Mmm - and the ranch! Not your mass bulk ranch. It was delicious. I had the BBQ nachos (the best I've ever had). My husband had the pulled pork plate. The BBQ speaks for itself. AMAZING potato salad and baked beans!!! Service was personable. Love the family-owned feel. This will definitely be a go-to!!!

The pulled pork sandwiches are delicious and absolutely packed full. You’ll need a fork to finish eating everything that falls out of the sandwich!

Tried this place for lunch today and was dissappointed with the quality and prices of the food. The chicken wings waaay over cooked and dried out. The loaded fries appetizer was chinchy in portion size an extra charge to swap from pork to chicken. The server was very nice and helpful. Overall, the service was great but the food and prices are terrible. Not worth our 55 bucks on lunch.
