The service and quality of pizza exceed expectations. Everything I ordered was fresh, and the staff was courteous and efficient. The delivery service area is huge, and prices are reasonable. Baker's feels like a pizza joint from a bygone era. It's classic, delicious, and affordable.

When visiting a new city I always like to seek out an original pizza shop. Friendly service right off the bat! The aroma when I opened the door blew me away! I asked if they could put the pepperoni on the top and they were happy to do that for me. It usually is under the cheese. The pizza dough had the light airy crust that I hoped for, and a nice crisp crunch when I bit down. This is THE best pizza! Also, very affordable, without compromising the quality ingredients.

A neighborhood gem! We've lived here in Bluff Park for the last eight years, and never thought to eat here. This was our loss. Based on the rec of one of our UAB students, we tried it out tonight, and the food was DELICIOUS. I'm a total pizza snob, and Baker's isn't new-age designer pizza; ala organic kelp, Amish-grown kale, or free-range goat cheese. It's just straight-up traditional pizza, and flat-out FANTASTIC. BIG flavors; and everything spot-on. The key is quality ingredients: their sauce is rich and spicy, their cheese is fresh and real, their crust tastes homemade, and their toppings are all top-shelf. You open the takeout box, and it looks very unassuming and generic - and then you take a bite, and go, "Wait a minute....What?.....WOW! This is GREAT!!!" We had both the "Outlaw" and their "Veggie" - and both were exceptional. And their wings are thick and flavorful. All in all, a delightful surprise. We definitely will be visiting them frequently in the future. Thanks Baker's!!! PS "Atmosphere" rating was simply because it's a takeout place, not a sit-in dining restaurant.

Best pizza in the Birmingham area! Staff is super helpful and FAST. Ordered pizzas, salads, and cookies for 90+ people for a work lunch, and they had fantastic customer service and handled the order perfectly. Meat pizza is the best, and get one of the huge chocolate chip cookies (perfectly soft and gooey).

Meh pizza. Never answer the phone when you call during their listed hours. Printed menu prices significantly lower than they charge, has been that way for over a year but they don’t care to change it (and give YOU attitude when you mention it). I live on the same street and would rather drive to Homewood for pizza.

Pizza is pretty good, much better than anything you can get at a chain.However the prices inside are completely different than the ones online. Like just update your menu it's not that hard. A large pizza is like $4 more.

Pretty good pizza- got a thin large thin crust and some salads and they were on par with other local pizza joints in the Birmingham area. Definitely better than a standard chain delivery pizza and pretty much the same price. Will definitely be ordering from here again when we are craving pizza.

Was recommended to stop here while I was traveling through. As a New Yorker we can be very particular about our pizza. This place was absolutely amazing. Got there right in the knick of time before lunch rush. The staff was super friendly, food was delicious. My wife Merida and I will definitely be back!

We got three large pizzas today. I ordered over the phone and paid over the phone and it was easy as pizza pie! My favorite was the monster, it had mushrooms and every type of meat they offered and the crust was thin and excellent. The cheese was a white mozzarella And there was not too much sauce. We got an Italian sausage and it likewise was delicious it did not have too much anise in the sausage like happens sometimes and the cheese was stringy and good. We also got a plain cheese pizza there's not much I can say about that because it was a plain cheese pizza. The pizza chef saw me picking up and thank me for the order and also asked if I would like some packets of crushed pepper and Parmesan. I will definitely give them a lot more business in the future.
