Delicious food and pleasant atmosphere and service. Both entrees and appetizers were excellent. Bottega is classy but not pretentious restaurant. Wonderful evening.

We had a FABULOUS dinner here tonight, having driven up from Little Rock. The food was delicious and the service top notch. We sat outside in the garden and had the most fantastic waiter. He took the best care of us. The piadine sandwich and figs appetizer were out of this world. We will be dreaming about it, until we can return. What a treasure!!

One of my favorite BHam restaurants- the building looks like it was lifted out of Venice or Milan. The service is impeccable. The main formal dining room is closed at this point as they recover from the pandemic. The cafe menu is excellent and includes outdoor eating. Go early to get a table at dinner.

We went to Bottega to celebrate my daughter's birthday this weekend. The restaurant was completely booked - however, they had an early opening at 5:30pm. Our waiter, Luis was excellent - he was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their dish -- which is rare. And the desserts were "to die for" - panna cotta, zeppoles and tiramisu. The tiramisu was so uniquely presented -- but the taste was decadent. Bottega is one of our favorite restaurants in Napa - because of the great service staff!

Italian cuisine. Scrumptious. Haven’t had anything I didn’t like. Beautiful atmosphere. Knowledgeable and friendly wait staff. Fresh. Menu is adjusted periodically but fan favorites remain. Reservations accepts at Bottega but NOT Bottega cafe. Worth sitting at the bar :).

We went to the Botttega for the 3rd time in a year late this afternoon. The food was fantastic and even the owner was very personable and went out of his way to be funny, positive, and polite while providing us with memorable personal attention and exceptional service. The bar, dining room and kitchen are spotless, sophisticated and first class. Everyone on the staff was smiley and extremely courteous. Overall the service was suitable to a 5-star restaurant charging $$$$$. We would highly recommend The Bottega.

Went for a late lunch during the SEC BB tournament. Outstanding food, beverages, service and had to go to the hotel for a nap (in the Italian tradition!). Also like the continual service from 11-9

First thing I want to say is the guy who brings out the Curb side, I am so sorry but I totally forgot his name, I want to say Theo, HE.IS.AWESOME. From MY experience, HE is the best thing about this place and HE gets 5 stars. I was in town for a funeral and did a little research prior to leaving and read somewhere in my research that this Burnt Honey cake is to die for. Well, I hate to disappoint, but it was NOT all that, and most definately NOT worth the damn $12.50 PER SLICE, and a very thin slice at that. It tasted like churned butter, not sure where the 'burnt' part comes in but OMG - $12.50 per slice was a total RIP. I also ordered a pizza, that was pretty good, not the best pizza, to me, it reminded me of Olive Garden pizza. I ordered 2 slices of that ridiculous cake and a pizza, which was about 8" in diameter and the bill was $45.60 !!!! Not sure where they get off charging these ridiculous prices for average food, at best. Maybe some of the other menu items are much better? At least I would hope that other menu items are better. Anyway, if you go here for that stupid Burnt Honey Cake, save yourself some cash and disappointment and go to Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream for dessert, that was the BEST Ice Cream I have ever had. I am a major sweet tooth so I know my sweets and trust me when I say there is NO other ice cream that can beat Jeni's ! It was a tad bit spendy at $6 per scoop but OMG so good. I am sorry that I cannot offer a better review of the food at Bottega, if it were truly all that, I would say, but it was not. But that Theo guy (black guy) with long dreads or braids, he was SUPER friendly and he definately gets a 5 star review from me!

Pretentious and the food is not that great. It's one of those places that makes spaghetti and meatballs but calls it something in Italian so they can double the price.

Enjoyed a really nice dinner here while staying overnight in Birmingham. The service was amazing. The food was delicious. We had a couple pizzas, the salmon, and then the veggie polenta. Only thing I didn't love - the orzo/veggie side that was served with the salmon was cold, like very cold. I don't know if this was intentional or not. It seemed odd, and I would have preferred it hot. The fish was very nice though.

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant one weekend, and it was a big mistake. When our appetizer came there was a hair on it that we immediately pointed out to our waiter; they remade the dish (supposedly), but no other apology was made or offer to even comp the appetizer. The portions are small as you would expect, but the quality is little more than you would receive at a chain restaurant.

Burnt honey cake! Nothing is to be missed here! Everything is making! Curbside is incredible! Jeff's soup and greens are always a hit! Bolognese is out of this world and one of the best pastas!! All of the fresh pasta is perfectly cooked and prepared. Trey is always making sure everyone is well taken care of too!

It's a Frank Stitt restaurant and so very little else needs to be said. Like all of his restaurants the menu is fantastic from top to bottom, the service is 5 star and the atmosphere is relaxing and intimate. It's pricy but reasonable given the quality. You will not be disappointed.

Great evening of food, service, and charm of the Bottega building. Started with the hummus platter. The hummus was an unusual but delish preparation. It came with crudite and bread that we swooned over! Next were salads. Tasted farmer market fresh and also very good. Next was chicken piccata and a vegetarian spaghetti. Both were flavor bombs. As a mostly vegetarian, I was unexpectedly blown away by this spaghetti flavor. The best I have ever had. As an avid cook, i hope to recreate this as we were visiting from AZ. We will be back! I love old houses architecture and Bottega did not disappoint. The added holiday lights made it even more beautiful.
