Very responsive to my last-minute request. Even though I am in a different state, kept me apprised of the situation, and I felt confident they would do the needed work.

Had an excellent experience with guy. He was a very respectful guest and went straight to work upon entry.

They were polite, showed up on time and explained everything in detail. He was open to sharing his knowledge and we truly appreciate that. We purchased a "fixer upper" earlier this year and he walked us through the inspection and cleaning process of both fireplaces.

I'm done with green acres. I've been a fan for years, but these lil a$$ wings, did these chick's hatch yesterday? I ordered a six piece, and from the size of these, I got like 4 and a half. The bottom part of my fork is bigger than the wings, smh.

Best Chicken in Birmingham!!! Was recognized by Steve Harvey's Hoodie Awards!!! If you want some hot chicken all the way(ketchup and hotsauce) with a side of fries...Green Acres on 4th is your spot!!! Fast friendly service with a smile...you never know who you might see while you are there a celebrity, a councilor, or even the Mayor might just be in the midst!! My favorite fried chicken spot!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the best wing spot in Birmingham to me! You know the food is good when you get a greasy brown bag! Plus, great atmosphere and customer service!

I bought the pork chops plate but after tasting the first one it killed my taste for the second piece it was bland and dry.

Pretty cool experience. Green Acres Cafe has a large menu of very affordable eats and family sized meals. A lot of their product is fried. Expect Smooth service and a brief wait with only 1 cashier area..

We dropped in for fried green tomatoes and a catfish sandwich. Both were excellent...thinly sliced green tomatoes with a crispy coating. The catfish was delicious as well. The restaurant was very busy. Unfortunately there was no indoor seating, so we ate in the car.

My husband and I were in town for the Alabama game and kept hearing about this place. We decided to make a stop. Honestly, I don’t see the hype. The prices are nice and low. The chicken wings are whole. However, the wings were NOT all that to say the line was out of the building. To my husband and I, it lacked seasoning and flavor. Sprinkling salt and pepper doesn’t help already fried wings.

Okra a must try. Long lines but worth the wait. Cant go wrong with anything you order. Limited curbside parking.

The wings are as good as they are advertised. The carry out restaurant is set in a historic district and has a lot of history attached to it. I ordered 4 wings with fries. Ketchup was well spread all over them. The wings were crispy and the batter tasted good. Prices were pretty reasonable at this restaurant.

Our group was in Birmingham for a tour and the guide said this is where you get the best chicken and fried green tomatoes....so our bus pulled up... The food is good (wish I did hot sauce instead of lemon pepper on the wings cause it's a dry rub). The food is super cheap!! AND they sell whole wings!!! You just have to remember to order condiments for a small fee...trust you wont trip cause of the low cost of everything. They take cards but PLEASE take cash to tip them. When you are done stop next door to get ice cream or shaved ice. You won't break the bank and your tummy will be happy.

This was my first time here. They talk so highly of this place but its not as good as they say. The food was cooked to order but the service was not good. I will go back again but the staff at this location can be a little more welcoming.

Took my wife and kids there because we wanted to support a restaurant they have never visited before. I told them Green Acres was good and I would eat there often when I lived in Birmingham. Today must have been bad day. The ladies had stank attitude and they charged us for ketchup and hot sauce that we didn’t get. Not sure what happen but this is not the Green Acres I remember. I will try them again when I come to Birmingham but if I get the same experience I will go to one of the many other black owned restaurants in the area. Get it together you all are too good to act like that.
