The three employees that were there were working HARD. The bartender was covered up and the two waitresses were covering bussing, host, and water service on top of their jobs. 30 minutes to get drinks and order food. We would have ordered appetizers more drinks and desert but the pace was WAY off and we knew we would miss our show. We asked for the check as soon as our food showed up to try to get out in under 1.5 hours. Our waitress was trying really hard to keep a good attitude and smiled but we could feel her energy getting destroyed by being over worked. The lack of staff ruined our visit. I really would like to experience this place when the energy is up beat and the service is on point. IMO the pricing is right in the sweet spot for the quality of food and atmosphere. Given a full staff, I could see making this place a regular stop...maybe

The front desk worker I spoke with was very passive aggressive. Her tone was very rude like she didn’t want us to be there. They are unorganized with reservations. I called multiple days to confirm my reservation . When we arrived they ask us who we spoke to over the phone as if we were supposed to have a name of the worker instead of them having our names. I was also told I would have to now pay $200 for the reservation because I was there with “no reservation” . As I was about to set up payment the front desk worker I spoke with was still giving us attitude despite me trying to be nice after their staff made a mistake. The man who I’m assuming was the restaurant owner/manger was very nice. I don’t know if it’s because we were a younger African American group of people but I doubt they give anybody else that treatment after staff made a mistake .They looked at us as if we’re lying about the reservation and just showed up with 15 people.

They were understaffed and while my salmon was good the rest of our party ordered steak that looked about like something you could get at Applebees. Our dessert was so long getting to the table and we had an event to attend that we gave it away to guests at another table. Would never go back.

The food was not good. I had the salmon cabbage and butternut squash. My salmon tasted burned, and the cabbage was tough and too sweet. I asked for water with lemon and didn't receive the lemon or a straw, and the waitress most times was no where to be found.
