Pizza was okay. The garlic bread was not what we were expecting - it was like an open sub sandwich bun with garlic butter. We thought it was an appetizer but it was served only moments before our pizza came out and it was not very hot. For me the pizza was only okay but Pies & Pints is one of our son's favorite places to eat when in Birmingham.

Pies & Pints serves up a pizza experience that stands out from the crowd. While the crust may lean on the floppier side, it doesn't detract from the overall flavor, which is notably delicious and well above average. Each bite offers a satisfying taste that promises to leave pizza enthusiasts craving more. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this spot is worth a visit for anyone looking to indulge in a pizza that's a cut above the rest

After waiting over an hour at our table and only seeing the waiter twice (one to take our order and once to bring us our app) we decided to leave. It’s not busy here and the service is horrible. Also, a pipe is leaking from one of the apartments upstairs and is leaking on a table (not our table, but a table). The table has a bucket catching the water but it also has clean plates and silverware. Cheese bread was really good though! Won’t be back. Service is horrible.

One of my favorite pizza spots in Birmingham! Consistently delicious. Try the caesar salad and any of their seasonal pies.

Daughter had a salad and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Daughter said salad was good and would recommend it to others Sandwich was very good. The chicken was tender. Service was good but a little slow on drink refills. Area clean and appearance made you comfortable during your stay.

Decided to go to the Birmingham, Alabama Pie & Pints and immediately regretted it. Upon our arrival we (my wife and man were looked off by three waiter's before we were seated. Once seated we waited for over 10 minutes to be approached. The sad thing was that this was after the noon rush. In this small section there were three waiters and ours was the only one MIA. When he finally came backhe took our order. The chicken wings were old and cold. When the pizza came it was different from the recipe. Trust me the Montgomery P&P is the best! In the end after eating I had to hunt the waiter down in the restaurant just to pay him. Looking for the waiter to pay was a first for me. Service was atrocious and I will never got back there again!

Had a very disappointing experience here today 2/26/24. I went in around 1:30 for a late lunch in between meetings. I stood at the host stand for 5 minutes, during which three different staff members made eye contact with me and then walked the other way. I stepped outside to see if I could find hours on the door, thinking that maybe I had come after they closed or something. I confirmed on my phone that they were still open. I walked back inside to the host staff, and one of the staff members who initially ignored me walked and said in a very annoyed tone, "Yes??" I responded that I would love to be seated at a table if that was okay. He snatched a menu up off the host stand, led me to a table, slammed the menu down on the table and walked away. I was absolutely dumbfounded. I waited for about three more minutes to see if someone could come and serve me and then ended up just leaving. Very disheartening and off-putting to be refused service so passive aggressively for reasons unknown. I definitely will never go back.

I ordered the 12-in all meat pizza on two occasions consecutive days. The first day the pizza came out lukewarm, don't have any idea how long it sat in the window but it was lukewarm and had to send it back to the kitchen to have it reheated. The second day was a much more pleasant experience the pizza came out hot I was attended to very quickly when I came in and sat down. Both times I sat at the bar for my meal

The food at Pies and Pints is always incredible. I love the White Pizza and get it every time I come here. The garlic bread is great too! I've always had a good experience here and the waiters are always very attentive. The vibes of this restaurant are great for getting a group of friends together to eat pizza. The only downside is that it is a little expensive for pizza. Despite this, I never regret going here and ordering both an appetizer and some pizza because I always have great leftovers to take home. If you're looking for good pizza, definitely check out Pies and Pints!

Ambiance/decor: This restaurant has a modern, hops-and-beards, almost hipster-ish atmosphere. That said, the decor is updated and casual. Service: I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. My most recent endeavor was particularly wonderful: always filled glasses, humorous but not too heavy conversation with the wait staff, just all around great people. But let's get on to the real star of this review, shall we? It's time to talk about the food. For your starters, there's no better way to go than the (I) potato skins pie or (II) the smoked wings. The potato skins pie is a genius concept and absolutely delicious. The crispiness of the bacon perfectly off sets the softness of the mashed potatoes, as does the acidity of the sour cream dipping option with the natural blandness of the potato. The smoked wings have the ultimate smokey, strong taste with the perfect crunchy skin. The buffalo sauce is perfectly thickened so that it doesn't just slide off the wing when you pick it up. But the pizza, the PIZZA is the real star. I have tried multiple pies at this restaurant and can assure without a doubt that the street corn, elote pizza is one of the best things I have EVER eaten. At first I had qualms about the elote concept not translating well given the carb on carb interaction between the corn and crust but no- the chile lime seasoning (tajin) perfectly mediates between the two. Every single bite of this pizza is the perfect combination of every ingredient; each but is just as equally herbaceous, salty, acidic, and sweet as the next. Seriously, you can't go wrong with this place, it's people, or it's food.

I went to Pies and Pints with a few coworkers. Despite my concerns regarding parking in the downtown area, there was no trouble finding a spot. The vibe was fantastic when I first walked in; there were booths and tables available, the lights were low, and there were alternatives for bar sitting. As soon as I sat down, I was met with assistance, which was a fantastic example of service. The menu was extensive, but ultimately, my colleagues and I decided to have the pepperoni/bacon, the margherita, and the chipotle chicken pizza pies. All of them were straight out of the oven and packed with flavor! My favorite pizza place in Birmingham is without a doubt this one!

I love going to Pies & Pints for some phenomenal pizza! As someone with dietary restrictions, it's always nice seeing a variety of things I can choose from, and I am able to do that here. I always get a gluten free crust with olive oil/roasted garlic, vegan cheese, spinach, kalamata olives, and basil. If you enjoy craft beer, this restaurant has a lot of different options to choose from! The employees are kind and helpful in recommending appetizers and items to customers. The areas were clean and sanitized in between customers. Every time I visit, the environment is very welcoming and inviting.

Always a delicious pizza and this time was no different. I got the seasonal pie called the “New Haven” and it’s probably my favorite so far.
