The wait times for the last several months have been insane. I always order on the app before leaving my home. It’s a good 10 minute drive. Only to get there and have to wait 20-30 more minutes. What’s the point of ordering in advance if it’s just going to take 20-30 minutes regardless? It would be one thing if this didn’t happen often but that’s not the case. This has happened every single time I have gone! I no longer go before work. If I go, it’s on a weekend when I have ample time to wait.

I cannot lie, while I have mostly abandoned Starbucks altogether because of their far-left, corporate woke policies, especially where I live, I make an exception when traveling.Since I'm in south Birmingham staying at a Marriott off 280, this Starbucks location is close by. Got there at 0635 and was quickly waited upon and of course the White Chocolate mocha and breakfast sandwich and chocolate croissant were excellent, albeit pricey.Although when I get back home I will always seek out the small, independent coffee shops.

Been coming for breakfast 3 times a week since February, until today. The last 2 Saturdays I have waited 20 minutes: first they didn't have oatmeal and just let me stand for 10 minutes before asking what I was waiting for, this morning 20 minutes waiting for my coffee and finally had to ask and it was sitting for the drive thru. Cold coffee just great ?

I came in during a busy time. I placed my order. And sat down to wait for my name to be called. 20 minutes went by still didn't call my name. So I went to the counter to let the employee know that I haven't received my order and it's been over 20 minutes. The employee looked for my oder in the computer. But apparently didn't see it! I let him know that Hannah had taken my order. He continued to look for my order, while Hannah continued to have a conversation with another employee. The employee didn't see my order, so he asked Hannah if she took my order, Hannah looked in the computer for my order, and it wasn't there.. There was another employee who called out my order and asked Hannah to give me a recovery card. While I waited on my order. I still wasn't given a recovery card, until I asked why wasn't my order in the computer & why did it take so long? He apologized & asked if I wanted a recovery card, I said sure. He gave me the card & told me to have a nice day. I've been to this location plenty of times, but I will not continue to spend my money where I am not treated equal to other customers that don't look like me. I can't change people's hearts, but I can change where I spend my money!

If you order on your way to work make sure you order at least 25-30 minutes ahead I’ve had to leave twice without my order. Loss of money, time, and much needed caffeine.

This Starbucks is the best one on 280. It’s a busy location but the service is great and my coffee is made consistently good. The staff are very friendly and they care.
This is the best Starbucks around! Every time I walk in I’m greeted by name with a smile!! Service is always fast & done correctly. Love everyone at this location!

I stopped by this Starbucks (which I rarely visit) to grab a Frozen Strawberry Açaí Refresher. There were multiple staff members in the back refrigerator/kitchen area talking so loudly I couldn't hear the lobby music -discussing physical preferences in dating.The woman who took my order was very nice, professional, & fun. 10 Stars!The young man making my drink spent the entire time complaining loudly about how he had made a mistake serving a customer and a manager or other supervising staff member had yelled at him. I felt bad for him......then he handed me my drink & I walked outside, hopped in my car, hopped on the highway, & then looked at my drink. Less than 2 minutes later. The top half of the drink was mostly frozen, a very loose Sonic slushy texture. The bottom half of the drink was just a regular, not frozen refresher. I guess maybe this is why they gets in trouble?

This is my favorite location!! Tyler and the crew always provide the best service and I haven’t had any issues in the 3 years I stayed in this area!! Give them all a pay raise they definitely deserve it! I need more stars because 5 stars isn’t enough!!!
