Taco Mama Downtown, you've knocked it out of the park once again! Last year, we celebrated my 16th Colon Cancer Free-Versary with an epic lunch at your spot. This year, we raced in the Rumpshaker 5k and headed straight to Taco Mama for our 2nd Annual Luncheon. The vibes, the grub, and the service (shoutout to Lee!) were top-notch as always. Food is good, reasonably priced. The Margaritas are great, but best of all was the service and hospitality, Lee Bain, the Brand Manager was amazing. Definitely gonna be back.

I don’t come to taco mama regularly, so I wasn’t sure the difference between a regular margarita pitcher and a skinny. I ordered a regular not knowing that meant skinny, and as the bartender called out the skinny pitcher I wasn’t sure if it was mine or not. So I went and asked about it, and I was greeted with a crazy level of attitude from the bartender and her do worker prepping trays. They did not even try to answer my question but treated me like I was nothing short of an idiot. Girl working the bar had an attitude mumbling and rolling her eyes the minute any customer walked in and ordered alcohol. Ive worked in food service for 7 years and always tip well but this was one of my worst experiences at a restaurant as far as service goes from start to finish.

Food was a 5/10. Street corn needs some work…. I had the Fat Boy Burrito. It was on the smaller side and lacked flavor. Salsa is good. Customer service amazing.

My husband, daughter, and I came here while in town. Sooo yummy! We got the build your own nachos and they were delicious. Huuuge portion too! If you get these nachos, make sure to add queso because I'm not sure if it automatically comes with.
