Truly one of the hidden gems of Birmingham. Best taco place in the city hands down.

A taco truck located alongside s gas station, this business knows how to make some very good Mexican street fare. I was recommended here from a priest in a brewery (that in itself is a whole different saga). Upon pulling in, and since I was there, I filled my car up, I strolled over and opted for an asada burrito (steak burrito) and a carnitas taco (pork taco). Let me say, this was some seriously good food. The business only takes cash and they were hesitant to give me a receipt for my food, but regardless, the food was simply very good food at a great price point. The burrito was $6.00 and the taco was $3.00. Both were excellent. I strongly recommend here. Just remember to bring cash. Oh, and come hungry, as in very hungry and fill up on some truly amazing Mexican food.

You must have their Ceviche. It is very authentic. The Management of this restaurant has been great for over 20 years.

Everything was delicious. I loved the Peruvian seafood soup with calamari. Margaritas are great. Service is attentive, to the right degree. Salsa is phenomenal, fresh, cilantro - I could drink it! I'll be back.

These are the best tacos you will find in town. It doesn't matter what kind you get. The Cabeza are my favorite. I like the Lengua too. I love to go there late at night on the weekends and get tacos and top it off with a Quesadilla Asada. Give it all some of the red sauce they make. The yellow bottle is only for the brave. Nothing can touch these tacos in this town.

Went here for the first time last night. I stayed for a while and saw many Spanish-speaking people come and go, which was an encouraging sign. The place has a vibe that is truly authentic; this isn't Taco Bell / Taco Mama... Some notes: -I ordered two asada tacos and an asada quesadilla. They were wonderful. The steak is well-seasoned and well-charred. Generally, I like it more on the rare side, but this tasted great. -The fiery chipotle sauce (red bottle) is superb. I can't say enough about this sauce. It adds a lot of flavor. -The avocado sauce (green bottle) was smooth, but too tangy/salty for my palate and not creamy enough. -The habanero sauce (yellow bottle) is not to be trifled with: I like things *very* spicy and this was borderline painful, though I may have used too much. Use it sparingly unless you want to feel it. -I saw many regulars order their tacos campechanos or al pastor. I didn't know what this was prior to ordering, but having seen them come out, that's what I would order next time for sure. -Their drinks are ok, but overpriced: Jarritos in bottles; Mexican Coke; 20 Oz. Powerade; bottled water; Sidral Mundet; or alcohol-free sangria... $2 each. -Sales tax is included in the listed price. Tip: Get it to go or bring your own drinks. The food is priced reasonably, but I spent $6 on drinks alone because I was very thirsty. That quibble aside, make no mistake ththis is a five-star review for authentic five-star cuisine.

One of the best taco spots in town! If you like basic tacos (aka hard shells and nasty cheese) - don’t come here! This is the real deal - buttery fresh tortillas, seasoned meat, onion, tomato, cilantro, and hot sauce.

Food is wonderful - some of the best Mexican in Birmingham. Not much for atmosphere, and certainly is not fancy, but the food and service are great. Highly recommend for a casual lunch or dinner. Prices are really reasonable.

Best tacos in town!!! We eat there 2-3 times a week. Tacos are $3 but are worth the price for the amount of meat each one has. They are open Wed-Sun from 4pm-4am!!! It doesn't get any better than that.

If you love authentic street tacos, this is the truck to be at. Do not go to any other place for tacos, but here. They have 3$ tacos and they make amazing homemade hot sauce for the tacos God bless this taco truck. I will be honest, I am guilty of staying out all night and I start craving tacos, I will come to this truck at 2-3am, getting 3-4 steak tacos with their red chipotle sauce again, this truck trumps all taco trucks out there

THIS IS MY FAVORITE TACO TRUCK EVERR. I'm always here at 2 or 4 in the morning for their tacos or quesadillas. Best place to go to for a late night snack!! Or if you like to have some veggies with your meal, YOU HAVE TO TRY THE STEAK BURTITO. Tacos are $3, burritos and quesadillas are $6, tortas are $8, and bebidas are $2
