This was a hard review to write. We stopped here on a Thursday evening around 6:30pm. Staff was friendly but didn’t not have enough staff as drinks ran dry very often as we were there for 2 hours with no wait to be seated. There was only One waitress/bartender and one cook. We waited over an hour and a half for our food! Nookie burger, philly and cheeseburgers were good. The shrimp was over cooked and chewy. My sister order a ceasar salad (only salad no meet) pain $10 for this and was about the size of a side salad at any other restaurant. If they had more staff, I’m sure service would be better and wait would no be as bad.

Great local restaurant, friendly staff, and fast service even though they were severely understaffed. We had a great time here and the food was delicious.

Food was great, try a Nookie burger. Not as good as Nookie but close for a burger! ;)

This is a "dive" but the food and drinks are amazing! They are known to have the coldest beer in Ft Morgan. Their margaritas are mixed fresh and not premixed and stored. I had the blacken chicken sandwich and fries. Cooked fresh and full of flavor! Large portion as well. Fish taco is a large fish filet with their homemade sauce. My husband said it was amazing. They also serve fresh made gumbo! The sign says "where the locals eat" and from what we seen this is true. We were able to get a lot of suggestions of things to do while visiting the area. If you are new to the area it's helpful to know Behind the Pines is literally behind the Pines. You will see the Pine liquor & convenience store as well as the Pizza Place. Drive to the back of the parking lot and you will find it.

My husband and I came here on 2 occasions during out short vacation. The 1st occasion was good our food was delicious. The 2od it took forever to get seated and there was no one there except for a few at the bar. We ordered and my husband's was great once again. MY SALAD BOWL HAD WHAT LOOKED TO BE CAT HAIR ALL AROUND ONE SIDE. AND THE BOWL EVEN FELT DIRTY. I was instantly nauseous as I had already began to eat when I saw it. The waitress was apologetic and did offer something to replace my meal but I was unable to eat.

I have no idea how this place has a four star rating. KELLY is the worst waitress ever. She was so rude at first I thought she was kidding. She wasn't. The only way she was left a tip was because she gave it to herself on the check. Poor, poor customer service.
