We went on $7 Bang Bang Shrimp Wednesdays. It was a vibe. Got 2 orders of those and Bang Bang Fries. We ordered a side of creamed spinach to mix in with the fries like a dip. So good.

Bonefish Grill is one on my All Time favorite fish and seafood restaurants!!! Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere!!! First class restaurant and I highly recommend Bonefish Grill for lunch or dinner!!!

Really great experience! The waitress was very attentive & all of our food came out perfect! Definitely make a reservation esp. on a Saturday. We got lucky only waiting 15-20 minutes, but that quickly changed to an hour and a half wait. The new sashimi crunch appetizer was DELISH! My Margarita was made well no complaints there. Filet was cooked to perfection & so was the lobster tail! Highly recommend!

We haven't been here since 2019 and wanted to try them out. The bang bang specials on Wednesday used to have us here every week. The decor is still the same and the service was really good. We had a reservation and was seated promptly. Our server was very polite and knew the menu and all of the entrees. Anjaly knew how to have a genuine conversation with a customer. We started with the tuna poke. It was one of the best we've had in Birmingham. The fish was so fresh but the sauce is what made it. Our entrees were the filet with scallops and the grouper oscar. The filet was cooked perfectly. I advise you to never go past medium on this cut. The scallops were good but the steak stole the show. The grouper was cooked as good as you can get it! I asked for a little more sauce and that took it over the top. This was truly a great dining experience. We will be back!!!

This restaurant is always consistent from a food and service aspect. Many employees have worked there for years. I do miss the coconut pie that was on the menu. Bonefish salad is really good for a light meal.

We stopped in after a long drive from Missouri for dinner. After a slow start and switching tables, things were great. Our server, Mark, was very attentive and courteous. The manager also came over and chatted with us for a bit, very understanding and accommodating.No complaints about the food at all...the brussel sprouts were delicious, and so was the chicken marsala.
I Was There On 01/21/2023. My Servers Name Was Dottie J. When It Was Time For Us To Leave She Handed Me The Ticket And I Gave Her My Debit Card. She Came Back With A Receipt She Put The Receipt In A Clear Bag Along With The Bottle Of Wine I Had Purchased. She Then Said, "Have A Nice Day, I Put A Receipt In The Bag So That No One Will Say Anything To You When You Walk Out". After That Me And My Guest Left. After An Hour I Realized I Had Left My Cell Phone. I Went Back And Spoke With Dottie And She Said, "You Ran Off On The Ticket So I Gave Your Phone To The Police". At This Point I Was Completely Confused... If The Transaction Didnt Go Through Why Would She Come Back With A Receipt And Tell Us To Have A Nice Day Instead Of Coming Back And Telling Me That The Card Declined. If I Had Known The Card Declined I Would Have Paid Using A Different Card. I Spoke To A Police Officer And He Told Me That I Needed To Wait Until Monday To Get My Phone. I Went The Entire Day Sunday Without My Cell Phone And It Cost Me Lost Wages. I Am A Delivery Driver So Me Having My Cell Phone Is Necessary. I Went Back To The Restaurant On 01/22/2023 To Pay For The Meal And I Talked To Someone Who Referred To Himself As The Kitchen Manager About My Experience But He Was Completely Dismissive. He Said To Me, "She Didnt Do Anything Wrong You Did. You Walked Off On The Ticket Not Her". The Issue That I Have With This Experience Is That She Gave Me The Impression That The Transaction Went Through By Handing Me A Ticket And Telling Us To Bye. She Never Once Told Me That The Transaction Declined. This Incident Caused Humiliation Embarrassment And Lost Wages.

My wife and I dined at the Bonefish Grill near Birmingham's Galleria on Friday December 30th because we had at giftcard - chain restauraunts aren't our first choice but maybe we should reconsider that kind of thinking!The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We started with the Bang Bang shrimp - it was hot, slightly sweet and peppery. For our main dish, I had the parmesan encrusted trout; she had the grilled salmon. At first bite, the trout was a little bland. I asked for fresh lemon and more of the lemon caper butter. That addition and a little salt really transformed the fish into something special. Her salmon was superb and the asian dipping sauce was a perfect balance of soy and syrup. I replaced my two regular sides with one of their prime side dishes, the slightly fried Brussels Sprouts - divine!Our server was Douglas; he was professional and well-spoken. He was attentive, pleasant, knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. The ambiance dimmed the experience a bit - the main dining areas need renovating and refreshing. I have an idea that the takeout procedure needs rethinking - the hostess seemed a little flustered because she was taking care of a crowded entry area, seating people with reservations, and helping out with takeout. I didnt think she was at fault, it looked like a system problem to me!My scoring:Bread and dip: 5/5Banged Shrimp: 5/5Trout and Salmon: 5/5Brussels Sprouts: 5/5Ambiance: 3/5Value: 5/5Total score: 28/30, a solid A. Terrible service and even more terrible food. Such a disappointment following previous, pleasant experiences. Food was unacceptably delayed and when it did arrive, it was luke warm, dry and tasteless. The only acceptable dish was the burger (from a seafood restaurant)!
