Their to go orders are wrong 10 out of 10 times. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten one that was correct the first time. This last time was the last time.

We had a reservation through Open Table in advance, but were seated in the far back of the restaurant next to a large birthday party of 20. It was so loud we could only hear the person next to or across from us - there were 6 of us, 3 on each side. Our waiter was grouchy, did not talk much at all, acted as if he didn't want to be there. Made very sarcastic remarks to my son-in-law more than once. My son-in-law ordered the steak portion of his surf-and-turf rare; it was literally still frosty and inedible. He got a box to take it home for later (and to cook it further) rather than deal with our waiter. Food was kind of "dropped" in front of us all. All total we had 6 entrees, 2 appetizers, 2 desserts, 3 mixed drinks, one glass of wine and two glasses of tea; with tip the bill was almost 500.00. We had a wonderful birthday celebration at this same place a year ago and had a much better experience. We will pick somewhere else next year.Parking: Easy and close, plentiful.

I personally think everything is overrated , especially the price , food was average , after 2 drinks each and a steak each the cost was 200.00 , I would expect a above experience but it wasn't there for the cost. If you're on a budget this isn't the place for you , I felt like we paid for the name.

Ms. Lori was such a DOLL!!! She took care of us with a bright sunshine smile on her face the entire time. She was so happy to hear that it was our 2nd wedding anniversary. She surprised us with a sweet handwritten card pared with our dessert. She was so personable. It was almost like we were friends! I cannot rave about Ms. Lori enough!! Such a wonderful person! Glad we met her today.

Wonderful salmon with fresh,seasonal vegetables and salad. My daughter always gets the filet mignon. Perfect and never disappointed in the food. The servers could be less pretentious. They seem pissed if you don't order alcohol. My daughter is not yet 21 and I would rather not drink after a long day at work. I'm tired enough. Why is it not okay to come for the amazing food?

I'm visiting and ran across this restaurant.... the service was excellent it's lively I think because happy hour was ending... everyone had smiles on their faces and the food I mean the food was Amazing...it is a must

My friends and I (party of 7) went to Firebirds in Hoover to celebrate a milestone, as one of them was moving away and recently promoted. I suggested Firebirds, as everything is usually impeccable. This time it was the worst experience. We had to ask on multiple occasions for the basics to include silverware, clean appetizer plates (plates were dirty 3 different times), and non cloudy water. This was just the beginning of the embarrassment I felt suggesting Firebirds as our dining option for the celebration. We ordered cocktails that took forever to arrive and when the arrived the glasses were sweaty and ice in drinks was melted, leading to watered down cocktails. The food arrived cold, presentation on plates was lack luster, and they mixed up some of the order with another table causing further delay. The was a huge disappointment! The only bright side to this deplorable experience was our waitress Erin who delivered great service in the face of all the adversity she was facing with so much going wrong. We ended the night and everyone unanimously agreed that we will not be returning as the experience dampened our celebration. Firebirds please do better or you will continue to loose loyal customers such as myself.
